To my baby boy
-Time for bed, sweetheart !
I walked into my son's bedroom just to see him play with a tiny little version of an aircraft. I smiled to myself, his room was full of planes. Toys, drawings, bedcovers...
My son was mad about these flying metal pieces.-Momma ! I was about to save you and dad from the evil Doctor House !
I frowned.
-Where did you hear that name ?
Wilhelm shrugged and continued playing as if he didn't hear me say it was time for bed.
I took him in my arms, not minding his protests, and put him down to bed. When he understood I wasn't going to give up, he asked me to give him his little aviator plush, what I did.
-When I'm older I'm gonna be a fighter pilot !
My heart ached at the idea of him growing up. Soon enough he won't be my little boy anymore.
I smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
-You know you're already mommy's little wingman... I always need your help !
-Yeah ! You would always lose your keys otherwise !
-What a chance I have to have you !
He threw his arms around my neck.
-I love you, mom.
I wrapped my arms around the little figure and almost crushed him in my embrace.
-I love you too baby.
