The mansion felt empty inside. Like it really was abandoned. Was this really the right place? I held my weapon close in front of me. You never know what could happen.

Once, a vampire had jumped me from the ceiling. After that, I remembered always to have my weapon in my hand.

I walked further in. As I went to explore more, I saw cande light. So there is someone here? The candles were located next to giant stairs. Should I go up? I stepped towards the stairs. I saw something in the corner of my eye. What was it? I turned my head a little.

"Oh, fuck!"

I saw a skeleton on the floor. It must have been there for long. I was nervous. This vampire will be stronger than the ones I've ever encountered so far. Where is this creature?

I decided to take the stairs to the second floor. Slowly walking and looking around me, I had reached the top.

There were multiple doors, all made from the same brown wood. Two giant doors were located in the middle of the walls. Where could these go? I decided to open them.

I went slowly closer to them. I held my weapon thight in my hand. My fingers put soft pressure on the door. Slowly, the doors were opening.

A giant room was revealed. A chandelier was hanging from the ceiling. Big, beautiful windows showed the night. It felt truly magical. In the middle of the room was a throne. It looked weird to me. There was no other furniture.

Suddenly, the room shook a little. Fuck, I'm in big trouble. The doors behind me closed, unable to be opened again. I heard laughter from all across the room. Where was this monster? I couldn't see him. I had been too busy looking at useless stuff that I forgot the vampire.

There was a crash of thunder in the distant. It started to rain outside. It felt like a draft of wind was going through the chamber. But, there was. The fire of the candles was moving. Where is this damn beast? Will this be my end?

I looked around again. My eyes shifted to the throne. It wasn't empty anymore. There was someone on it. I couldn't exactly see who. Another thundercrash in the distant. The room was brightly lit for a moment. Now I could see who it was.

It was the vampire.
