I couldn't believe it. He was there, I was sure of it. The vampire that killed my parents. That was him.
He slowly stood up from his throne. I could hear his voice fill the room.
"How cute, walking right into my trap." The voice echoed through the room.
My hands shook. "You are lord Amdis, aren't you? I am here to kill you!"
He laughed. "You are correct. I am Lord Amdis. I think you are mistaken. How can a little girl like you kill me?
He came closer. I could now really see him. His long, curly blonde hair was resting on his shoulders. Amdis had bright red eyes. He was staring at me, not even blinking once.
"I am one of the strongest hunter out here. Don't underestimate me!" I faked my confidence. My voice shook.
Amdis chuckled. "A century ago, the strongest vampire hunters were actually skilled. Not some little girl with a tiny weapon. If you really think you are one of the strongest, you have to show me."
The vampire disapeared. He was gone before my eyes. Where was he?
Suddenly my axe is gone.
"What th-"
"Nice toy!" I saw the vampire. He was standing in the room again. He had my axe in his hand.
"Too bad it's mine now." Amdis threw the weapon in one of the corners. The creature started looking at me again.
I am powerless without my axe. How was I supposed to kill this creature without a weapon? I could still see the axe. It was just lying on the floor. If I was fast, maybe I could get it?
Without further thought I sprinted to the corner. My eyes were focused on the weapon. If I had it again, I could protect myself.
Before reaching it, I was slammed against the wall. Amdis held my face, as he forced it into the red wallpaper. I was sandwiched between the wall and the vampire, making me totally powerless. His other hand was supporting my waist.
"You see, sweet little vampire hunter? You are no match for me." Those words made me shiver. I could feel his hot breath against my neck. His long, cold fingers trailed down my stomach. My muscles had given up. I was completely defeated.
I heard him chuckle. "Already giving up? How cute!" His hand let go of my face, yet I was still stuck. Now both hand were wrapping around my body, making it even harder to move.
His breath felt even hotter. I felt his mouth coming closer to my neck. He slowly kissed my neck. I felt his tongue slide over my bare skin. It made me shiver and tense up.
"You are so sensitive."
I could not not even answer with words anymore. Is this going to be my end?
"Not so tough anymore, hunter?" He chuckled. "Your biggest fear, becoming one of us. If I bite hard enough, you will probably turn." Amdis voice was deep and sadistic.
What is there left to do? He has me thightly in his arms. I can't move. Then I remember. My hand slipped to my bag. My fingers found the potion I had saved. This was the time to use it. I opened to lit of the potion and threw it behind me. It had hit Amdis. The pink liquid was dripping from his skin.
"What is this stuff!?" He let go off me.
"It's the potion of the Fountain of Zahl!"
Suddely I see the potion had spilled on my hands as well. My eyes went black as I passed out.
