On the walk home from school, Y/n got distracted by the delightful melodic sounds of a nearby café. After closer inspection, she discovered that the café itself was the Weekend Garage, which she knew for a fact the well-known Shiraishi Ken owned.

She walked over to one of the Café's windows and looked through it, wondering what was causing the harmonic blessing that she heard.

Come to discover, it looked like a band. A band of teens her age. And this, caught Y/n off guard. Very. She was expecting a band, but not one of people around her age. And especially not one..

... With one of her classmates in it?!

Y/n rubbed her eyes, and then looked through the window again. Her eyes were locked on a specific blonde girl in Weekend Garage.

There's no way, Y/n told herself. But it had to be, because no one else had that similar appearance.

... Kohane.

Y/n couldn't believe it. How could the stylish girl she sees through the window at this very moment be the same as the nerdy, glasses-wearing girl she's in the same class as?!

Either Kohane got a glow up, or Y/n is seriously hallucinating. She hopes it's the former.

And then, Y/n gets the sudden courage to go in there. Which, she does.

The bell on the door goes off as she enters the café, but the group of singers seem to immersed in the music to notice her right now. Which, she's definitely taking to her advantage.

However, that doesn't last very long. As the second the song is over, the tall ginger of the group turns around to grab his water bottle and instantly locks eyes with Y/n. In which they both catch each other off guard.

"... And you are... who, exactly?" The ginger asked, his guard up due to the presence of the unexpected visitor.

Y/n could see Kohane shrivel up and hide behind one of the other band members from the corner of her eye, but quickly put her attention back on the questioning ginger standing in front of here.

"I'm Y/n L/n, and you are?" Y/n replied, crossing her arms in an almost defensive way.

After a moment of silence, the ginger replies.

"Akito Shinonome."

Y/n pauses for a moment. Shinonome? Like, Ena Shinonome? Her childhood friend? There's no way. Two shocks in the same day.. Seriously?

"... As in, related to Ena Shinonome, correct?" Y/n asks, just for clarification.

"... Yeah, she's my older sister, duh." Akito says with a nod, as if blatantly stating the obvious.

"Well, smartass, people can have the same last name and not be related. I was just making sure I was keeping my facts straight. Do you know how embarrassing it could be to mistake someone for another person with the same surname's sibling when they're not actually related? Not to mention the fact that you two don't exactly look similar." Y/n replied.

Akito's smirk wavered for a second, then he stepped backwards, putting his hands up in surrender.

"Alright, alright. No need to go all nerdy on me." He remarked.

Then, the other members of the group - which Y/n had completely forgotten about for a moment - cleared their throat.

"Pleased to meet you Y/n, I am Toya Aoyagi." The other boy of the group says. Y/n could see Kohane peeking out from behind him.

"An Shiraishi! Nice to meet ya!" An energetic girl introduces herself, reaching and shaking Y/n's hand.

After the other two introduce themself, Y/n looks at the time on her watch and realizes how late it is. She explains to the group that she has to go and heads to the door.

Before she leaves, however, she turns back around and says to Kohane..

"Love the new look, by the way. See you in class?"

And then, off Y/n goes, on her way home once more.
