Y/n and Rui walk to Y/n's house together, it's an awkwardly quiet walk, until they reach her house. Y/n goes to open the door when she turns back to Rui and clears her throat.

"... Thanks for walking me home, I guess." She says, nodding.

"Of course. What kind of gentleman would I be if I let a pretty girl such as yourself walk home this late all alone?" Rui replies, his grin reforming on his face.

Y/n chuckles, and then turns and opens her house's front door. Before she goes inside, however, Rui stops her, and leans down and kisses her cheek.

"Have a nice night, Y/n." He whispers in her ear, then turns around to start walking away. But then he's stopped by Y/n.

"Wait." She calls out.

"... Why don't you come inside for a little bit? You shouldn't have to come all this way for no reason." She offers. "I could make some tea, if you'd like?"

Rui seems to think about this for a moment, and then turns back to Y/n.

"That'd be nice, but I have to head back to the Amusement Park. Thank you for the offer, though." He says, bowing to Y/n and then turning and walking off.

"... Oh, okay then. Bye!" Y/n yells as she watches Rui's figure disappear into the distance. She wonders when she'll ever meet the mysterious gentleman again.

... But what she doesn't know, is that she will very soon.
