chapter 25

Reed's POV

I can't believe it. I can't believe I have to spend even more time than I did with Celine. I don't have time to do no extra work I have to work on my new EP.

"We should start working on the video after we're done here so you know, we can spend less time together." I suggested

Right now we were sitting in detention at the library sitting a table away from each other.

"Yeah sure whatever works I don't care." Celine monotones.

Moody much? Faking the video would be hard, I can already tell. We can't just film at our homes it wouldn't be believable. We have to make it seem like we like each other.

"Wanna go to the arcade?" I asked.

She turned around and looked at me shocked.

"Why would I want to go to an arcade with you?" she replied.

"Um maybe because so we can film our video faster and get out of each others lives?"

She was silent for a couple of moments and I thought she was ignoring me. I then heard her sigh and reply,

"Okay okay I'll go."

After detention

We started making our way towards Celine's house because she thought it would be "unprofessional" if we just film the entire video on our phones. I personally thought it was fine but then she went on and on about how she doesn't want me to mess up her grade. When we got to her room she rummaged through her closer to find a tripod to use while I was sitting on her bed on my phone tweeting Reedlings. When she found it she immediately handed it to me to carry wow she's so considerate of others. Total sarcasm. She then walked to her desk and grabbed her camera. I called my mom to drive us to the piers arcade. It was the biggest and best in town. When we got there we walked toward the machine where you can buy an unlimited play card. Right before Celine was going to pull money out of her wallet I pulled out my money first and paid for the both of us.

"You don't have to pay for me you know." she said while grabbing the cards.

"You know you could just say thank you." I said.

It really wasn't much really, considering I sing for a job while Celine doesn't have a job. The cards were only just $30.

"Just so you know this isn't a date." Celine said.

"Of course it's not, why would I want to go on a date with you?"

"Same to you too."

Celine wanted to play skee ball first. We are having a competition to see who can score more points than the other on every game. The loser has to buy In-n-Out. We agreed and swiped our cards at the same time. I have to admit I am a little bit rusty, ever since I started my career I don't have time to go to arcades. I always have to be in the studio or doing interviews. I looked over at Celine and she was flawless, she kept scoring in the 500 point holes. After we finished Celine scored 3,000 points ahead of me.

"Wanna go again?" Celine asked while smirking.

"Oh it's so on."

Celine then beat me 3 more times until I tried to mess her up and win at least once.

"Reed stop it I'm trying to focus!!" Celine said laughing.

We played air hockey and she scored effortlessly while I was struggling to keep up. Either I was too distract trying to follow the puck because Celine was hitting it with so much force it went really fast (AN: SCIENCE !!!!!) or I would accidentally hit it into my own goal. Five different games later and not winning a single time, I declared Celine the obvious winner.

"What do you wanna do with all our tickets?" I asked.

Combined both Celine and I have a total of 482 tickets, you could guess who won most of the tickets.

"I don't care. All the prizes are cheap, I would much rather have that In-n-Out you owe me" she laughed.

AWWWWWWWW TOO CUTE. i may or may not have gotten a little jealous while writing this ((spoiler i was)) this actually happened with me and my boyfriend lol if you don't know what In-n-Out is its a fast food restaurant with really good shakes and they're only in california ((i believe don't kill me if this isn't accurate i live in cali)) and they're like a higher quality mcdonalds and i love In-n-Out. sorry if there's any errors i'm falling asleep while trying to write and prob wouldn't edit later lol
