"Sir, are you ready?" Nicholas inquired, his voice muffled by the door. "You're usually quicker than this. What's taking so long?"
"Yeah let's go," I responded as I emerged from my room.
"Now I can see what took you so long , BTW you are looking handsome " He said in a teasing tone, a smirk playing on his lips.
"Don't start again Nicholas, I'm your boss." I said while running a hand through my hair.
"Ok boss, shall we go now?"
"Of course" I replied.
We arrived at the venue 15 minutes ahead of schedule and spotted Ms. Astor emerging from her Mercedes, so we made our way over to them.
"Hello Mr. Dior, hello Mr. Smith," Ms. Astor greeted us warmly.
"Hello" We greeted her back.
"Why are you here 15 minutes earlier?" she inquired.
"We can direct this question to you as well, Ms. Astor." I replied
"Actually I like to be punctual so sometimes it happens to me" she remarked with a grin.
"Same goes with me" I said smiling back to her.
"Oh, I think now we should get inside Josephine is already there" she said.
"Sure." I responded.
"Hello both of you" Ms. Dolce greeted us.
"Hello" We greeted her back.
"This is Ms. Lucy she will be our waitress today." she said while pointing at that waitress.
"Accompany me, and I'll guide you to your table" the waitress informed.
Soon we reached to our table and the waitress hand us menu, I was about to say that we will order after sometime I was interrupted Nicholas "Boss what do you want to eat?" he whispers.
"Can't you be quite?" I asked getting irritated by him.
"Mr. Dior, you should not scold your assistant like this, he is so innocent." Ms. Astor said with a grin.
"Thank you Ms. Astor, but I like when he gets mad at me." Nicholas said with a smirk directed at me.
"Oh so that's why you always irritate me now I got the point, I always thought that how can someone be that mad, Ms. Astor he is not innocent he just looks like that." I replied.
"Is that so?" she asked curiously with a smile.
"No, Mr. Dior is envious; he couldn't bear hearing my compliments since childhood. It's just his usual demeanor, please don't take offense," Nicholas replied with a chuckle.
Ms. Astor and Ms. Dolce also started laughing "Mr. Smith you are so funny." Ms. Astor said while smiling.
"Thank you so much Ms. Astor" Nicholas replied with a grin.
"It's already 8:30, if you guys done making fun of me, then we should order and start the task we are here for." I said while looking at my watch.
"Yeah you are right." Ms. Astor replied while calling our waitress.
Everyone ordered we told them that they can serve after 30 minutes.
"Yeah so Ms. Astor what about that contract you mention yesterday?" I inquired.
"Yeah it's here, Josephine read it out please" she told Ms. Dolce.
"Basically there are only 5 conditions you have to agree first please listen to them then respond." she said.
