Beep!! Beep!! Beep!!
This blasted alarm, it's 5 AM. Time to rise and shine; it's gym o'clock. I hastily brush my teeth, and downstairs, Nicholas awaits. I suggest, "Today, let's jog through the gym since the treadmill's out of commission."
"Sure thing, boss! Let's do it!" Nicholas eagerly agrees, breaking into a run.
"Liam mentioned he's bringing his friend to the gym today. Her usual spot relocated, so she's scouting for a new one," Nicholas informs me mid-run.
"Perhaps she's one of his sluts, who knows," I speculate.
"Unlikely, sir. Liam mentioned she's his closest buddy after you," Nicholas counters.
"Let's reserve judgment for now. Focus on the run," I curtly instruct.
Upon arriving at the gym and stepping inside, I was taken aback to find Alizée alongside Liam.
"Ohhh.... hey Ali!!! What brings you here?" Nicholas bounded toward her and inquired joyfully.
"Hey Nick and Kai, what a coincidence!! I'm here with my buddy Liam. My usual spot got relocated, so I'm on the lookout for a new one, and he brought me here," she replied with a grin.
I was about to speak but was interrupted by Liam, "Do you guys already know each other?" he asked.
"Yes, are they both your friends you were talking about?" she responded and inquired simultaneously.
"Yeah, buddy," he confirmed.
"Small world," she remarked, smiling at Liam.
"So, is she your girlfriend?" I asked him curiously.
"No, didn't you hear me calling her buddy? We're best friend, right Ali?" he replied, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Yup," she affirmed, looking at him with a smile.
"I thought I'm your best friend" I said with a smirk.
"You used to be, but then I meet her so no more bro." he said and three of them started laughing.
"Just kidding bro, you are my best buddy and no one can replace you." he said while enveloping me into a bro hug and whisper in my ear "except her."
"Asshole." I responded, and we both erupted into laughter.
"Now if your bromance is done, we should start with our workout." She said, and we all burst into laughter.
"Sure Madam," Liam replied.
After we completed our workout, Liam suggested, "Why don't we walk together and catch up?"
"Yeah yeah!! let's go let's go!!!" Nicholas and Alizée exclaimed joyfully.
"You guys can carry on I have to go and check Sebastian." I replied.
"Oh come-on boss don't make excuses we know that he will not wake up before 11:00 AM." Nicholas said with a playful smirk, and a light-hearted teasing tone.
"Ok fine, Let's go." I agreed.
"Yayyyyyy............." Nicholas and Alizée again exclaimed while giving high-five.
We stepped out of the gym and Liam inquires curiously, "How do you guys know each other?".
"She is Sebastian's psychologist from today." I replied.
"What? when did you start being hired?" he asked her.
"I think his case is critical and I wanted to help that's why." she replied with a grin.
