Heavy breathing echoed in Xander's ears. He blinked his eyes open, taking in the surroundings. It was pitch black before fading into the forest where he once was. He was sat on the ground, just like he was back then.
Wasn't this where I started
What the hell?He turned left and right.
"It definitely is though..." his brows furrowed, confused.
"Just how did I get here?"
After a few moments he just shrugged and walked, walking towards the light but it seemed to be somethi- wait no. A figure that was..human like.
He ran towards it, hoping to ask for directions, but the figure vanished.
Weird..
He saw a shack from far away, deciding to ask the people there and to maybe take a rest too.
He approached the door, knocking.
"Hello? Anyone there?"He waited before knocking again. "Helloo?? Is there anybody?"
Waiting for a while, he deadpanned, just turning the knob. It was unlocked..? Who in their right mind wouldn't lock their door when it's literally outside in the middle of nowhere?
Still, hesitantly he pushed open the door, entering inside.
"Huh. No people."
He decided to explore the shack, trying to know just why it was left behind.
I mean there was a bathroom, a little kitchen and rooms with just big enough beds. What's wrong with it?Why would someone leav- wait what is that?
A door was on the far side, hidden from view. What is it?
Xander stretched his arm out to the knob, once again left unlocked and easily turned.
He saw a dark room with stairs leading down. He didn't have a flashlight so he looked for a switch.
Maybe on the wall? Up top....?
As he looked up, a black fluid was stuck in the ceiling, wide multiple white eyes staring down at him with a sinister grin.
It didn't help he couldn't see much since the room was dark.
Good thing he didn't see just how much black fluid surrounded the ceiling.
Xander immeadiately bolted out, panic settling in his nerves as the black fluid sloshing behind him.
Xander looked back, terrified at the monster before him.
If it was scary in the basement, it was definitely scarier in the light.
It was a huge amount of black fluid, multiple numbers of eyes, mouths with razor sharp yellowish teeth and organs scattered in it. Rusty nails were on the tips of it's hand-like shape with something red that looked like blood splattered on it.
It looked like a nightmare someone took right out of a dream.
He ran as fast as he could but the monster was closing in on him. Suddenly, two hands pulled him out of nowhere to the side, passing through a portal.
As soon as he came outside, he came face to face with none other than Yin and Phschea.
"Huh? How- what?" Xander was wide-eyed.
Where did they come from?
"Look. No time to explain. We have to run, NOW." Yin whisper shouted urgently.
"He's right. We have to run fast as in right now." Phschea added, turning her head to look back, looking out for the monster.
They ran, Phschea clutching Xander's hand. Red creeped up Xander's neck before coming to the realization of the present with the monster.
