Joong looked with disinterest as his father slammed the table.
"Why did you save that bastard?! I had him in my hands!" Tony shouted.
"The press was there. Did you think that Lertratkosum won't know? It was too obvious, Paaw. There would be no way for us to get out of it." Joong replied.
"And the business deals that they have been gaining? Did you give the chance to that bastard? Did you think I wouldn't know?!" Tony fumed.
"I have my eye on much better deals, Paaw." He had followed up on the information that Dunk gave him and managed to close a few before his meeting with his father. Tony hummed when he saw the figures.
"Seems like you are getting the hang of things. Not as stupid as your mother. Fine, I'll let things go for now." He didn't see how Joong clenched his fist at the mention of his mother.

Pond couldn't believe his ears when he heard that someone had tried to knife Dunk. The three of them were worried when the news spread. They were relieved when Dunk showed up at the office door unharmed. Dunk went on to tell them that it was a setup by Tony Veeraphakul but Joong had saved him. Pond narrowed his eyes with skepticism.
"P'Joong and I have cleared things out. He really isn't that bad. Nothing like his father." Dunk tried to persuade Pond. Pond nodded his head in agreement just to entertain Dunk. Well, He did save Dunk after all. Maybe... just maybe, they can bury the hatchet.

Pond had slowly warm up to Joong when he saw how happy Dunk was. There was no longer that shadow or the gloom in his eyes. He was glad that he no longer spoke of following his parents. Gemini and Fourth were thriving. Force and Book couldn't be happier. Joong was happy to have Dunk back in his life. He was satisfied with how things were, even if he yearned for more.
Dunk had never felt happier or be more at peace, even with his uncle lurking in the background. That was until he saw Joong chatting and laughing with a woman. He couldn't understand the feeling the stirred within him. Joong had waved to him but he had walked away, not wanting to face Joong with the confusing feeling in his heart. Joong felt confused.
"Perhaps he was jealous of Khun Film beside you. After all, the both of you were chatting rather happily when he was around the corner." P'Daou smiled when Joong confided in him again.
"You think so?" Joong was happy with the idea that Dunk could be jealous.
"You better clear it up with him before he thinks you are taken and goes for Khun Lertratkosum." Joong narrowed his eyes at what P'Daou said. He can't deny that he feels jealous of their relationship. Dunk seemed unnaturally close to that Lertratkosum.

"Are you avoiding me?" Joong asked Dunk when he pulled him into his car once again when Dunk hadn't spoken to him for the past three days.
"No..." Dunk stammered. He still couldn't figure out his feeling so he didn't know how to face Joong.
"It's best that you're not. I would hate to lose you again." Dunk saw the hurt in Joong's eyes. He wondered why he had unintentionally hurt him again. He tried to apologize.
"Why did you leave when I was speaking to my sister?" Dunk was confused at what Joong said. As far as he knew, his uncle only had one son. How did P'Joong gain a sister?
"Sister?"
"Yes, she is like a sister to me." Joong hoped that Dunk caught on that he and Film could never be more than that.
