Kad looked at the body one more time and noticed something. There was a small projectile jutting out from his throat. "Which of you killed Sev? I don't recall any of you using blow-darts; that's kind of my thing," Kad asked, pulling the projectile out. Nobody answered. The dart was covered in blood, but Kad didn't care. He scanned it with his helmet and found saliva residue on it. He pulled a data pad from his belt, inserted the projectile into a DNA testing port and ran a DNA test.

"What do you know? The guy got hit by not-so-friendly fire," said Darra reading the screen on the data pad. The name showing up on the data pad was Ko'Anna Kryze, bounty hunter for Death Watch. Echoy'la looked over Kad's shoulder and saw the name.

"Great, I have to fight one of my cousins. That'll be fun," he grunted sarcastically.

"Why would a Death Watch bounty hunter kill one of their own?" Opakki asked.

"Let me check the comm-chatter," Kad said, flipping to another panel on his data pad. "Says here they suspected he was going to defect, so they had him slotted so he couldn't. What a shame."

"A shame indeed," Darra said as she rubbed her leg wound. Kad felt something impact his chest plate.

"Oh, for goodness' sake!" Kad exclaimed. He knelt and found a small dart on the ground. He heard a voice curse in the distance and retreating footsteps. A jetpack could be heard starting up a few metres away. "Let's get the chakaar!" Kad yelled. He started up his jetpack and the others followed. They flew through the woods, trees flicking rapidly by. Kad looked for head signatures in his HUD and found a red marking a few hundred metres away and closing. The bounty hunter must have realized her mistake and disengaged her jetpack. She rolled into the forest floor, twisting her ankle in the process. She screamed and doubled over in pain.

Darra instantly aimed in the direction of the sound and flicked her wrist back. Three small needle-like projectiles shot out and caught the heat wave of the shooter. They heard a yell and a thud as the whistling birds hit their mark.

"Sounds like we got our bounty hunter," said Kad landing and walking over toward the sound.

"We? You mean me? Poor little ol' me with a bandaged leg got the bad guy and gets no credit? What a shame," said Darra following close behind with a small limp.
