Five just got done explain the grandfather paradox to us, which is basically in our situation, if our mothers were killed before we were born, were technically not suppose to be alive. So, there's no doppelgängers out there because, well, they don't exist. Five also explained how bad of consequences this 'paradox' can have. 

"im so confused." Diego said, as he son, Stanley was throwing around a pool table stick. 

"shocking." Allison said rudely, what has gotten into her lately? 

"well someone killed our mothers, so we shouldn't exist. but clearly we do exist, and the universe can't handle it, which is a problem." viktor said summarizing what five explained 

"big problem." five sighed raising his drink up to his lips 

"yah!" stanley said kicking the air 

"stanley! now is not the time to be doing karate okay?"

"mom said I need to practice." the boy explained referring to Lila 

"well she's not wrong, you're very bad." Diego said 

"well I saved your pathetic ass." the boy fought back

"what?" I asked wondering how stanley would have saved Diego but no one paid attention to me. 

"okay, hold on. five, so we caused a paradox. what does that mean?" Allison asked 

"its hard to say. its all been theoretical until now, but things have started to disappear." five said, I could tell he was stressed 

"what things?" Viktor asked

"right now? lobsters."

"and a shit ton of cows!" Klaus added in 

"but I have a feeling this is just the beginning." Five stated looking at me

"a feeling? aren't you retired?" Allison said 

"I want nothing more." five responded looking at me again with a tight lipped smile. 

"you know you can't keep dragging us through hell because you have an itch only an apocalypse can scratch and then expect us to deal with the fall out. You're not the boss." Allison ranted 

"Allison calm down ok?" I took a step closer and she pushed my chest making me take a step back, five stood infront of glaring at our sister. 

"Fine, im the messenger, and im telling you something terrible is coming." five reasoned 

"then lets go attack the sparrows, get the briefcase, and go home." Allison said 

"this is our home Allison. accept it." I could tell Allison was hurt by what five said, she didnt want to accept this was her life. 

The silence was interrupted when Stanley knocked over a coat hanger with the pool stick 

"thats it! im telling your mom." Diego stood approaching his son

"ooh." stanley mocked 

"wait, where's Lila?" five asked intrigued 

"shower. I told her she could stay with us." Stanley said 

"wait, when did life get back?" viktor asked as five started walking away 

"five where are you going?" Diego asked 

"going to talk to somebody who only has half her head up her ass." I followed behind him as we made our way to the stairs 

"don't leave, five, y/n, don't leave." Klaus whined
