Chapter 7 Jumpstart

This is back in Ferns POV

Somehow I am once again not in the same bed as the one I have been sleeping in for the past 3 months

It was warmer and softer then anything I have every felt

I could sleep for days here but I knew where I was and that, that was not an option

Before I open my eyes I use all my senses (except eyesight) to see if someone is in the room

Thankfully it didn't seem like it

I slowly open my eyes to just slits and then look around

Im in a large room with tall walls and beautiful decor

Pushed to wall was the bed, that I was on, then to my left was the door, a bit further down the wall

To my right was a large window that oversees the city

I slowly start to get up but as I do my head starts to hurt

I must of had a fun night last night

I think back to what happened

I was talking with a guy named Amy-no-Avery, then we walk to the dance floor...and someone comes and grabs me...Bucky. He takes me to the tower where they feed me and give me some sort of medication then put me into this bed

I wonder what drunk things I said

I freak out for a moment

What if I accepted a mark?

But I go through each of the marks that were burning and they all seemed to be here, still hurting like hell

I was now sitting over the edge of the bed, my feet dangling off

I was deciding on what to do next

1. Stay here until someone comes in

2. Leave to go find someone

3. Make a run for it

4. Accept the marks and live happily ever after

Ok I'm still working on the forth one

As I was thinking I realized that I was still in my dress and my face turns beet red

Thinking about my soulmate seeing me in this and what they could be thinking on what my intentions were with someone at the club which made me super embarrassed

But I brush it off and decide on a plan

I'm not sure how successful it will be but you never know until you try, right?

I slowly get up, trying not to rattle my head to much, then creep over to the door

Once I'm there I stand on the inside listening to see if anything is happening outside the door

Silence

Thank goodness, now I can make a run towards to the exit, if I can find where that is...

I grab the handle for the door and silently open it, trying not to create a scene, or let anyone know that I was awake

I peek out and look around

I'm in a long hallway with doors all the way down both directions

To my left was the closest turn into the unknown so I quickly make a run for there, trying to be silent

All that training while I was in hydra is really helping me right now

I bolt down the hall until I get to the corner and k look both directions
