"shit," i mutter, trying to fix the bit of the splatter paint on my desk, my WHITE desk.
"YES?" i yell back, my eyes focused on my hand, aggressively rubbing the desk with a wet towel.

"MOM?" i yell again

"Oh my gosh," I say, putting my towel away when i see the paint is gone.
I open my door then walk downstairs.
"What's up?" I skip slightly towards my mom.
She dramatically turns, looks at me, then smiles even wider.
"YOU GOT THE PART!" she celebrates
"What?" I've auditioned for wayyy too many roles to count, how am i supposed to know which one?
"Percy Jackson, Rory," mom says grinning
i scream-squeal, jumping around while repeatedly saying 'oh my god' rapidly.
"Seriously?"
"Well no, you need chemistry test, with a guy called Walker Scobell," She says
I pause, that name is so familiar.
"Who's that?"
"You know the Adam Project?"
"Yeah?"
"The young blonde one that you thought was cute,"
"That guy!" I realize
"Yeah, that guy, anyways the chemistry thingy is like in 3 days so you have time," she say turning her back on me, checking on the chicken we're having tonight.
I run upstairs, jump onto my bed, and quickly whip out my phone.
