she wouldn't tell me the gender, but i think it's a girl.

a blonde, out of breath, girl, sits next to me.

"Hi!" i say

"Oh, um hi," the blond girl says

"what's your name?" i ask

"Maria, how about you?"

"wait, Aurora? as in Aurora Rodrigo?"

"My mom is having a baby,"

"You can see your mom now,"

"Ok! thanks," i turn to Maria, "Well nice meeting you!"

I walk into my mom's room.

"Aura, sweetie, meet Charlotte Emma-Taylor Rodrigo and Devin James-Alexander Rodrigo," My mom introduces

I wipe my sweaty palms on my knees as i nervously bite my lips.

I'm at the hospital, waiting to take the baby, my da- Dave i- was my father, he grew abusive, I caught on when i was 15 and ran away.

I tried getting my mom to come with, but she wouldn't budge.

Recently, she mailed me, saying she's having a baby on December 13th. She told me-, actually it's easier for me to just show you the letter.

I don't know how to start this.

I'm sorry I didn't come with you, i couldn't leave, without trying.

"Yup," i get up and walk towards my mom's room.

"mom," a tear escapes from my eye.

"I'm not ready to die yet," she whispers, choking back a sob.

"Mom," my lips quiver as i sit beside her bed.

"Of course," i get up and turn my back towards her, walk out the door and i was about to close it when.
