𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 finally Friday, I had a volleyball game today, but when i get home, i get to finally sleep. Or eat, who knows?
"Excuse me, Miss Rodrigo?" Miss Dickinson says, "Do you want detention?"
"Umm, no ma'am," I responded
"Well, what's the answer to question b on the board," she continues, giving me a slight sly smile.
"48," i say with no hesitation.
Miss Dickinson must've been shocked because, she ends up bombarding me with 3 more questions, that i, obviously, got right.
'BRING BRIIIIING'
the school bell ring obnoxiously loud, as i pack my things up.
"Senior Girls Volleyball team in the gym now for the league championship,"
"Hi Aurora," Melissa says waiting outside of my classroom.
"Hi melissa, what fascinating compliment do you have to say today?"
"Are you and Walker Scobell dating?"
For a second, I thought about lying, telling her 'yes we are' but then i thought otherwise.
"no, why?" i ask fully knowing the answer.
Melissa let out, of what seems like a sigh of relief.
"Oh come off it, you have no chance with him," I slam my locker and walk over to my friends
"What did dear Melissa have in stock for you today," Lizzy ask as i walk towards them.
"Oh, if walker and i are dating, weird right?" I smile walking forward slightly.
I didn't know at that moment, but the bet of when Walker and I would get together, just started.
Lizzy, Ariana, Sunny and I all head to the gym, seeing Maddie, already there, beaming at us.
"Oh hi Rory," Maddie mocks.
"Don't call me that, you know I hate it," i say as i put down my duffel bag.
"Oh and Walker can call you that?" Maddie teases.
"Oh shut up!" i say defensively but still keep my smile.
In all honest, i don't know why i didn't tell Walker to not call me that. It always felt weird for me when people would nickname me that, it sounded like i was a rude furry or something, but with walker, it sounded right, it sounded better than when someone else calls me that. I have no idea why.
