I was home alone one day reading a book when i got a text on my phone. 'Buzzz' the message was from an anonymous person. It read: 'Do not open the door!' I was about to disregard it thinking it was a prank. When there were two knocks on the door. 'Knock Knock'
I went downstairs assuming it was my parents when i received another text from the same anonymous messenger: 'This is your neighbour, i'm trying to warn you. There is a serial killer on the loose pretending to be the police so he can get into people's houses! Please, do not open the door, for your own sake.'
I froze in my tracks and thats when i heard, 'this is the police! Open the and let me in!' I looked down at my phone and hesitated. 'I know you're in there! Just let me in!' I started to back away from the door. I was too afraid to do anything. 'There is a serial killer on the loose!' The voice said on the other side.
I hid in the kitchen, with a knife clutched in my hand, ready to pounce. Thankfully, the person on the other side gave up thinking there was nobody home and the knocking ceased.
That's when i received one more message on my phone: 'now that the police is gone, we can have some fun... '
