Chapter 19: 'I have something to say.'

I wake up, feeling Chris' unclothed body against mine. His arm holds a firm grip around my body.

I reach for my phone, seeing Rajah has texted me. "Guess what!? Jimmy Fallon invited you onto the show again (this time with Chris!!). I'm telling him yes, but I wanted you to know."

I smile; typically Raj. I unwrap his arms so I can get up. I get to the bathroom and use the facilities before taking a shower. Suddenly he steps in from behind me. I moan when feeling his body against mine.

We share a few kisses during the shower and then get out. Still in my towel, I go out into the bedroom. Chris gets ahead of me with making breakfast, giving it his special attention.

I change into a bathrobe before trying to set up the table. Yes, trying. Chris won't let me help at all. ''Why are you doing things extra special this morning?'' I ask, suspicion creeping up on me.

''I'm not, I just want to treat the woman I like right.'' It grows my suspicion. I keep a close eye on him until he sits down to eat. He takes my hands in his and stops me from eating.

''Y/n.'' He speaks to me in a serious tone. ''Chris.'' I speak, imitating his serious tone. ''I have something to say.'' I nod at him to continue.

''Today two months ago we met for the very first time. You were wearing white cargo pants, a black top and a blazer. When you hugged me I smelled your sweet lavender scent for the very first time which I have never forgotten about since that moment. It's a moment I'll never ever forget. We've been together so much ever since that day and I hope it's became obvious I really really like you. So, y/n, would you make me the happiest guy I can possibly be and become my girlfriend?''

The tears are pricking in my eyes and rolling by the time he has popped the question. ''Yes yes!! I thought you'd never ask!'' We both smile and I wipe my tears.

Both of us stand up and walk towards the other. I cup his perfect face as we share a passionate and loving kiss. ''You have just made me the happiest woman I can be by becoming my boyfriend.'' I add. He wipes my leftover tears with his thumbs while cupping my face.

He then plants a kiss on my forehead and seals our officiality. After a while of kissing and hugging I tell him our plans for today. ''We could maybe shut up the rumors and tell them we are official..'' He suggests.

''We can. But I want to tell my sister first. She texted me she'd probably be here around 10, which is only 20 more minutes.'' I inform him. We both have a panic wave wash over us and start cleaning, so the apartment looks presentable.

The doorbell rings at 11.01. I open the door. ''Oh my god! Hi!! I've missed you so much!'' We share a long warm bear hug. ''Hey. Your doorman, Andrew, wouldn't let me through at first but I managed to convince him.'' She admits. ''I'm so sorry, these past few days have been hectic. Come in.''

She happily walks inside. Ruby and Dodger immediately come sniffing her and jumping up. Chris calls Dodger back while I hold onto Ruby.

''Stella, meet Chris, my uh- my boyfriend.'' I smile to myself after I've said it. ''Boyfriend?'' She smirks. I mouth her a 'this morning' which grows her smirk.

''Hi, I'm Chris. It's really nice to meet you.'' He says as they shake hands. ''I'm Stella, which you probably know by now, nice to meet you too.'' She says. I show her the guest room and give her time to settle.

''We have so much to catch up on. There's literally paparazzi parked outside waiting for either of you.'' She says excitedly.

''I'd get comfortable if I were you, they're always there. But uh- we need to go on a show today. It does give you time to get comfortable though. Do you mind?'' She shrugs her shoulders and raises her hands in defeat. ''I'm a ghost. You do you.''
