𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭

Dhruvi found herself overwhelmed by a sudden wave of anxiety. It felt like her heart was racing, her breathing became shallow, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of fear. she was having another panic attack.

In a state of panic, Dhruvi rushed to her room, desperately searching for her medicine. She rummaged through her drawers, hoping to find some relief.

As she searched all she was saying continuously " That happened becsuse me , yeah everyone are right , I am the cause I am the cause "

She found the medicine and gulped it .Dhruvi's racing thoughts started to calm down. She took a deep breath and reminded herself . To find more peace Dhruvi decided to get sleep .

" Dhruvi, dhruvi .. You can't go away from me . I will find you. Dhruviii " A boy's voice was echoing.

" Leave me please .. leave me " Dhruvi was running away until he grabbed her .

" Noooo !! " Dhruvi jolted awake from her sleep, feeling scared.

Atharva was sleeping next to her when he heard her scream and woke up , he saw her breathing rapidly. He looked at her with concern and tap her shoulder asking " What happened Dhruvi ? "

Listening his voice , dhruvi calm down and hugged him tightly. Atharva left dumbstruck. He unconsciously wrapped his hand around her saying, "It's okay, I'm here. Nothing's gonna happen to you."

Atharva was puzzled by Dhruvi's distress, as he had never seen her like this before. They remained in that embrace for a few minutes until Dhruvi calmed down and realized what had happened. Awkwardly, they broke the hug and exchanged uncertain glances.

" Sorry , I was tipsy when I came here totally forgetting you would be here too and went to sleep as a habitual routine " Atharva apologized.

As he was about to go, he paused and asked " Are you okay ? Shall I call mom?" . Dhruvi reassured him that she was fine. She noticed Atharva's injured hand and asked if he was okay. He assured her that he was fine too , bid her good night, and left the room. It was a moment filled with mixed emotions and uncertainty .

Next morning

Atharva tried his best to ignore Dhruvi at breakfast. He was about to go to office when his father stopped him .

" Beta , me and your mom had decided something . I know you don't consider your marriage but it's all affecting Dhruvi's life more than you . You are in your regular routine but she is losing her potentials being in the house . She left her job for this marriage and now when this marriage is pointless then she should continue her work " his father said .

Dhruvi smiled at her father in law and mother in law , ofcourse she has always seen them as her own parents but she didn't thought they will took a stand for her like this .

" She can do anything Papa , I am not stopping her " Atharva replied .

" I know , and you don't have authority to stop her too. We have always consider her as our daughter but I am telling you this because I want her to join as our corporate lawyer. She should start work at our office . So took her with you , show the office to her and explain the work , then from tomorrow she will continue her work " He advised

" But papa-"

" No if but Atharva, I said what I wanted and now you both follow it " He declared .

Dhruvi settled in the passenger seat, while Atharva took the driver's seat. The atmosphere in the car was filled with silence, as both of them seemed lost in their own thoughts.

Atharva couldn't help but reminisce about the events of the previous night. His mind was consumed with memories he wished he could ignore.

While Dhruvi reached for her phone and connected her earbuds. Music became her way to survive the car ride.

They reached Atharva's office.

Atharva called his assistant " She is Dhruvi and she will be working here as the corporate lawyer. Explain her all the work ." He said and left her with his assistant.

In his Cabin

" Bhai , you were saying you don't want to introduce her as your wife and now you brought her here in your office. what's cooking in your head ? " Anmay asked .

" Nothing, it was Papa 's order to brought her here , and hire her as our corporate lawyer . And don't worry I told everyone she is family friend and made her understood to not to speak about our relation and she agreed easily " Athrava frowns.

" Are you upset she agreed so easily to hide your relationship " Anmay teased .

" Ofcourse not , I wanted this too, and i think I can't continue this vendetta so I am thinking to end this marriage though it not registered yet " Atharva replied .

" What are you talking ? " Anmay asked confused . One week earlier he was full of revenge and now he changed , deep down Anmay too knew why but he wanted to know from him .

" No , I mean yes . Uff I am just getting confused . I thought it will be easy . I was angry that time took all the decision hurriedly without thinking the consequence but now she is messing up my brain . Seeing her only reminds our bond , the moment we had shared . I can't hurt her but I want to hurt her . This is what Nandini wanted but I am failing in this . So it's better to end it soon before it's getting twisted more . " Atharva was feeling irritated with himself .

" I know this would happened, You can never be cruel to her . Yes, you are angry with her cause of a the past things and Nandini , but you never hated her . I know how you missed her during this six years but don't wanted to show Nandini because you knew she don't like her . You may had love Nandini but you had always caring towards Dhruvi . And now you are feeling guilty , because you can't fulfill what Nandini wanted . You are showing everyone you are doing this for revenge and things but deep down you too know why you agreed to marry her before you got Nandini's note" Anmay said .
