𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞

Dhruvi and Atharva got ready and went to the hall where Atharva's mom was waiting .

" Where are everyone ? " Atharva asekd curiously.

" Why everyone will be here beta ? " She asked confusely .

" Aren't we all going to the temple ? " Dhruvi now asked .

" Nah , it's only for newly wed . And beside it was your grandfather wish that after your marriage you should visit the temple made by your ancestors " She cleared the doubt making both of them shock and confuse.

" It's 100 km away from here Ma , it will take lots of time . And I can't miss office . " Atharva reasoned .

" I will go, and It's ok if you don't want to come .And also my grandfather requested this so I will fulfill his wish . " Dhruvi agreed .

" Both of you are going there . And Atharva no if but , you told me yesterday to plan this and now you are acting like this " His mother scolded him .

They both agreed .

Outside

Dhruvi's was staring at the car's door, zoning out on something when Atharva noticed it .

He opened the gate for her " Just sit, what are you thinking ? "

" I will , and by the way you are not the man out of some romance novel so don't use this tricks of opening door for the lady. I can open it myself " Saying this Dhruvi closed the door and opened it again then sat besides him on passenger 's seat .

" How childish " Atharva's murmured .

" What did you say ?" Dhruvi glared at him .

" Nothing and yeah I didn't open the door cause of that. It was getting late that's why I did " Atharva started the car.

" Oh, so there was no need for you to come along with me. You can step back now too" Dhruvi replied without glancing at him and focusing on her phone .

" Then why did you agreed ? You cleary know Mom will not let you go alone " Atharva replied back.

" I said before too, it is my grandfather's wish so I am gonna fulfill it.He matters to me . And beside its ok if I can let a stranger visit there too ." Dhruvi said .

" What do you mean by stranger? " Atharva questioned .
" You know what I mean and now no more talk , there is 3 hrs to reach there and all I want peace for 3hrs because being with you is like a hell for me . " She replied.

" The feeling is mutual , but glad it's hell for you . That's what I want " He smirk.

Its been 2hr and the ride was silent as always but again Dhruvi was zoned out somewhere. Atharva could see her uneasiness.

" So you are hungry again ? " He asked looking at her through the front mirror .

" No , and how can you ask such things I have to keep fast until I reach the temple " Dhruvi said .

" So why these expression ? " He asked .

" What problem does it make to you ? " Dhruvi bitterly said .

" It does . I will not go with someone who gives so many weird expression through out the journey . " Atharva said sarcastically.

" uff , fine . This saree, it's making me uncomfortabe. I can't imagine how horrid I am looking right now . " Dhruvi told the truth

" Who told you to wear this.. oh I remember . I don't knew you follow my mom's wish too but don't worry .
..... you are looking beautiful " Atharva said looking at her , his eyes soften and a smile appeared on his face . She was looking beautiful .

"mean ? " She questioned raising one eyebrow .

" I mean .. you are not looking bad ,and I have been seen you even in the worse look than that . Your halloween look . I still remembered " Atharva smile recalling that days but Dhruvi didn't.

" But you are changed now . " He frowns .

" Everyone changes, it's just that I took a little longer. "Dhruvi said looking at him.

" We are going to reach soon " Atharva informs .

Finally they reached the temple. They both went inside . The Priest saw them and went towards them .

" You guys are looking familiar to me " He said with a gentle smile .

They both bowed down and touch his feets.

" I am Dhruvi uncle ." She smile back.

" Oh Dhruvi , it's been so long to meet you . You are fully grown up and Now you are married . Is this your husband.? " He asked gesturing towards Atharva .

" Maybe " She replied without a smile now .

" I see , your marriage are not in good terms , And I am not some fortuner to suggest something but you guys look so good with each other. If God want you both to be together you guys will . " He laughed.

" Now come let's start the rituals . " He added to change the mood of them .

After the worship and blessings , they both took farewell from there .

"Now we can eat right? " Dhruvi asked innocently.

" Yeah yeah" He chuckled.

They both stop at the nearest dhaba .They ordered their food and ate it silently. Dhruvi was scrolling through her phones and Atharva too was checking some office's details .

" I will go and pay the bill . You should wait here . " Atharva said .

" I have brought my money with me you don't need to pay for me " She said and searched for her bag but then remembered she left her bag in the car .

" It's ok, you can pay the debt once we went to home now let me do this " He laughed and left.

" Why I am so careless with my bags It's time for me to take my medicine also but that too is in the bag and I can't take it infront of him" Dhruvi cursed herself in her find .

Suddenly she felt a unfamiliar hand on her shoulder .

" Dhruvi ? "
