It's the evening time on Earth at an abandoned church in Southern California when suddenly, a glowing sphere appears in the middle of the air and out comes Jaune, landing on the floor and clearing the dust from the area.

He then stands up and looks around him to see the inside of the church, mostly covered in dust with some old graffiti on the walls.
Jaune: This must be some old abandoned church on Earth. Not something I expected to be in, but beggars can't be choosers. Now if I recall, the others should be here.
Just as he says, that four other glowing spheres appear in the church with people coming out of each one. The first was a woman with scarlet hair, brown eyes and knight armor. This is Erza Scarlet, Fairy Tail wizard and arguably one of the strongest women on her world.
