This story is set in a fictional South Korea [for the most part].
Nothing I talk about in this story is reality - but I do want to point out that it was mentioned in the comments of Peppermint Omega about fetishizing the culture. Ngl, I do love the culture, but I have not done a deep dive into South Korean culture to really know the facts. So please correct me if I am wrong [which I know I will be].
