Ratchet came to check on Alice. "Is there a chance of her surviving?" Optimus asked, his voice thick with emotion.

"It's fifty-fifty, Optimus, she was stabbed and shot in the same spot causing her to lose a lethal amount of blood, but as long as she keeps fighting she will come around," Ratchet said.

"If not?" Optimus asked. Ratchet observed Alice's condition with a serious expression, his optics scanning the monitors and machines that surrounded her. He turned to Optimus, knowing the weight of his words would have a significant impact on the worried mech.

"If she doesn't make it... I'll do everything in my power to save her, but ultimately, it will be up to her strength and will to survive," Ratchet responded, his voice filled with a mix of concern and determination.

Optimus felt a surge of fear and despair gripping his spark at the thought of losing Alice. He clenched his fists, unable to bear the idea of a life without her by his side. But he also understood that sometimes, no matter how much one fought, fate had its plans.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Optimus turned back to Ratchet. "Thank you, Ratchet. Please, do everything you can to help her pull through. I will be here, waiting for her," Optimus said, his voice unwavering despite the turmoil raging within him.

As Ratchet nodded in acknowledgment and left to attend to other patients, Optimus remained by Alice's side, his gaze never straying from her still form.

With each passing moment, he silently prayed for her recovery, willing her to find the strength to come back to him, to live and thrive once more.

One day Alice started to wake up and she saw Optimus asleep on her lap, and she gently ran her fingers through his blue-black hair.

Optimus groaned and stirred from his slumber. He saw her chocolate-whiskey brown eyes looking back at him. "Alice!" Optimus said in excitement.

Ratchet saw her awake and he gently removed the breathing tube which caused Alice to throw up. "My gag reflex never acted up, ugh," Alice said.

"What about when we're intimate?" Optimus asked. "That's different, I've been used to sucking you off, not having a breathing tube down my throat," Alice said as she was helped back to bed as she was still weak from just coming out of the coma.

Ratchet chuckled. "At least the coma didn't take your sense of humor," Ratchet said. Alice chuckled. "How long was it out for?" Alice asked.

"About six months, and you are probably hungry and thirsty," Optimus said. "Yeah, I could use a fat-ass burger and fries," Alice said. Optimus chuckled.

"I think we can arrange that," Optimus said as he called for some food to be brought to Alice's room.

As she ate, Optimus and Ratchet filled her in on everything that had happened while she was in a coma.

They told her about the battles they had fought, the new allies they had made, and the losses they had suffered.

Alice listened intently, feeling a mixture of emotions as she processed everything. She was grateful to be alive and to be back with her friends, but she also felt a sense of guilt for not being there to help them in their time of need.

As she finished her meal, Alice looked at Optimus and Ratchet with determination in her eyes. "I may have been out of commission for a while, but I'm ready to get back in the fight," she said.

"I may not have any special powers or abilities, but I'll do whatever I can to help you guys."

Optimus and Ratchet smiled at her, grateful to have her back by their side. "We're glad to have you back, Alice," Optimus said. "Together, we'll be able to face whatever challenges come our way."
