Heavy footsteps filled the room as Feighlyn locks the door close fearing for the worst to happen. She stumbles down as she saw her own reflection at the full-sized, wooden mirror. A total wreck. Feighlyn's gaze landed at the smiling picture frame across her bed as her forehead creases in confusion. Turning back at her reflection-- a mask of expression you couldn't explain was painted on her face. Fear? No. Fear is an understatement--it is more than an explainable feeling. Confusion? Not really. Though, it's starting to build up in her mind. A mix of those? Maybe. Feelings that are fighting its way through her. Feelings that are fighting for DOMINANCE. Her heartbeat is racing gradually as she covers herself with her thick blanket, cuddling herself--hoping that when time comes she uncovers herself from it, every thing will be back to normal--that after this, her struggles will come to an abrupt end.

The clock reads exactly 2:00 A.M--when Fei decided to peek outside. Darkness envelops her room as cricket sounds get louder by the minute. A frustrated sigh emits from her mouth as she lies comfortably at her comfy bed--planting her gaze at the white ceiling before her. The smiling girl at the picture frame was somehow imprinted in her mind and no matter what she do, she just can't shook off the frightening image. Sweat trickles down her face as she closes her eyes--trying to drift back to sleep. settling to a more comfortable position, she turns her head around--happens to catch a glance of a guy's shadow leaning on her door frame as drowsiness took over her and before she could fully comprehend what happened, a short yet sweet kiss was planted on her forehead. A tiny, sad smile spread across his face as he stared down at the beauty before him which he knows he can never be with.
