"You'll be lucky if you can make it to fucking breakfast." Ma June tells him as Lucy shuffled back and stood next to Clover. "What happened?" Clover asked as Lucy stared at her until she looked at her.

"That man out there shot him," Lucy told her before looking over and out the window. "But a man in armor came to help." Clover's eyebrows furrowed as she tilted her head to look out, seeing no one.

"We got a whole crate under the box with the defibrillators." Ma June tells Barv, who left Clover's room looking around. "You keep moving things around without telling me," Barv says, walking past her and Lucy.

"I don't mean to interrupt, but was that a knight?" Lucy asked, Clover looking at her and then returning to Ma June. "Barv!" Ma June yelled as the woman came back with a box in hand.

"Wasn't under the defibrillators. Just saying." Barv says as Ma June places the box on the table. "I'm sorry for yelling. Been shot in the leg." Ma June said, making Clover look down and see red on her pants leg.

"Are you going to okay?" Clover asked, stepping forward as Ma June began looking through the box. Ma June looked at her, nodding before saying, "I'll live." Clover nodded, wiping the sweat from her hands onto her pants.

She watched Ma June crank the metal leg and place it on the doctor's wound. "Holy moly," Lucy said next to her, making her and Clover share a look. "You get used to it," Clover tells her, making Lucy shake her head. "Don't know if I could."

"She can take me." The doctor said, looking at Lucy. "If you think this little thing can haul your limping ass across the wasteland, you may not be as smart as people say you are." Ma June tells him as Clover puts a hand to her mouth.

"Do you have anyone else you can trust in this town?" The doctor said, making Ma June sigh before turning to the two. "Hey, daddy's girl. Clover." She said, making Lucy turn back and clover to cross her arms.

"I need you two to take this man to my client." Ma June said, making Clover nod, knowing she was being trusted. "Of course, Ma June." She said as Lucy looked from her to the woman.

"Oh, uh, thank you, but I'm really only here to find my dad. Besides, no offense, but you're in no condition to travel." Lucy said, looking at the man, making Clover sigh. "My client goes by the name Lee Moldaver." She says, making Clover look at Lucy.

"Now, you ain't getting near Moldaver without something to bargain with, and delivering this guy right here is your best option." Ma June says to Lucy, who looks at Clover, who shrugs.

"Well, what does Moldaver want with you? I mean, she steals dads!" Lucy said, making Clover cover her mouth to stifle laughter. There was a loud explosion, causing them all to turn and look.

"Do you want your dad back or not, Kid?" Ma June asked as Clover walked over toward the door behind her. "Gosh, Damn it, Okay!" Lucy shouted, making Clover smile softly. Though she caught herself, and the smile fell.

"Now, this is where you're gonna find Moldaver." Ma June said as she put the coordinates into Lucy's pip-boy.  "She and her kind hole up across the shithole." Ma June tells Lucy as Clover opens the door, inspecting the outside.

"Whats the shithole?" Lucy asked in confusion as Clover leaned on the door to watch her. "Uh, well, just get to the coordinates. You know, rads move pretty quick in and out through there, so you're gonna need to move fast if you want to keep your skins." She tells Lucy while getting a crutch.

"All right. We can do this." Lucy told herself as she glanced at Clover, who held the door open. "Yes. You can do this; sure, you can. You're a vault dweller, true to your word." Ma June said before looking at Clover.

"And you've got Clover. She can take care of anything." Ma June said, making Clover smile at the kind words. Ma June wasn't the nicest person, but Clover thought deep down that she cared.

"This could maybe work?" Ma June told herself, looking at Lucy. "You really mean that?" Lucy asked, hopeful, making Clover look at her with soft eyes.

As they left through the back door, she watched Lucy smile at the Knight. Clover's smile faltered before she turned to Ma June. "I'll come back. Don't worry for me too much." She said with a smile, making Ma June sigh.

"Don't get all sentimental and sappy." Ma June told her, waving her off. Lucy was turned, watching Clover closely as she and Ma June spoke. When Clover turned to join them, Lucy gave Clover a soft smile.
