Chapter 4
Michelle Addison
I woke up so early with a big headache and stomachache. I took a long hot shower since I woke up 3 hours earlier from class. After finishing, I ate a bit so I could have some painkillers then went to sleep again.
Carlos Alexanders
It's 7:30 already and Michelle hasn't arrived yet while class starts at 8. She's always early but this time there's something wrong. I took my phone and called her
"Michelle? Where are you?"
"I'll be there in some mins wait for me at the entrance"
"I am there" she suddenly hung up but her voice doesn't seem okay.
2 mins later she arrived.
"Hey Carl, how are you?'' she greeted me with her hood on and not looking at me.
"Hey look at me"
"I have to go, class starting soon" she was about to leave but I held her arm.
"Micha, what happened to you?"
"Carl please, I'm not up to argue with you. We'll talk later please, I promise"
"Fine, we'll talk after class"
"Okay sure, as you wish but not now" she made me let go of her arm and walked away but her hands are so warm. I wanna see her face, she's hiding something!
As I was in my thoughts, I heard people crowded in one place. I went to see what's wrong until I saw Micha on the floor fainted.
I quickly pushed the people away and went to lift her. I removed the hood and looked at her face, and damn, she's yellow like an egg!
I quickly lifted her up and went to the nurse room.
Michelle Addison
I woke up as the sunlight was hitting my face. As I opened my eyes properly, I looked around the room and wait... Am I in the hospital? What happened to me?
As I grabbed the cup of water, I accidentally dropped the cup and broke it and that's when I saw Gio running inside the room.
"Micha? You're awake? Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? What happened?"
"Calm down Gio, calm down. Don't worry I'm still alive. No need to worry but why am I in the hospital?"
"You fainted in the middle of the university, you had a high fever and it was so serious that we had to take you here"
"Ah ok, not a big thing" I said "Hey, can you bring me a cup of water? I'm thirsty"
"Yeah yeah, sure" he said and went to bring it for me.
"By the way Gio, who was the one to help me? Because as I remember, I didn't see in the morning"
He stayed silent for a bit but then talked "It was Carlos"
"Really? Where is he anyway?"
"Outside"
"Why isn't he coming in?"
"We stopped him"
"Huh? Why?"
"Well, since the incident of today's morning he hasn't been calm. I mean like you fainted early in the morning, from then till now he's worried. He didn't even want to eat before seeing you all right"
"What time is it?"
"5 in the evening"
"What?! That long? What about his classes?"
"He skipped them all" he said as he gave me the cup of water.
"Oh God"
"Hey hey, calm down. If you want, I'll call him in"
"Yes please" I said as I drank the cup of water.
Seconds later, Carlos came in. He quickly ran to me and start checking on me.
"Beautiful? Are you okay? How do you feel now? Any pain? Dizziness? Vomiting?" He held my hand with one hand and the other caressed my cheek.
"Carlos, Carlos, calm down. Please calm down. I'm fine" I felt his body relaxing a little bit. "Gio? Can you give us a minute?" Gio nodded slightly and left.
"Carlos?" He hummed and locked his eyes with mine "Why did you skip your class and meals?"
"I couldn't eat"
"Why?'' I know the answer.
"I wanted to know about your condition. I couldn't calm down till I get to check on you! So are you okay? Any pain? Dizziness?" He started panicking again.
"Carlos, shh shh calm down handsome boy, shh calm down. I'm fine don't worry" I said as I caressed his cheek lightly.
He took me by surprise, hugged me tightly and cried.
"Beautiful, I swear I can't live without you. I'm gonna die if anything happens to you"
"Hey hey, no one is dying. No need to bring such topic" I said as he wiped his tears.
"Micha, I love you"
"I love y-"
He suddenly pulled me by my arm and kissed me.
