"... Let's break up"
Carlos stayed silent, he wasn't moving nor blinking. It's like he became a statue.
"Carlos, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I said as I shook my hand infront of his eyes but suddenly his eyes start tearing up yet he wasn't blinking. I slapped his face lightly and out of nowhere he inhaled.
"Michelle, I-I'm sorry. I didn't believe you when you told me that there was nothing going on between you and Henry" he start panicking, he scared me for a moment until he hugged me while crying.
"Shh shh, calm down Carlos. Don't cry! It's fine, I understand. Now calm down. Inhale...exhale... inhale... exhale...yes, great. You're better now?" He nodded slowly.
"We're not breaking up, right?"

I feel so terrible for everything. I understand if she wanna break up with me but I hope that she doesn't want to.
"We're not breaking up, right?" She stayed silent looking down. I held her hand and made her look at me.
"Micha, my love. Look I understand if you want to break up with me but please understand the reason of my way of thinking"
"Carlos, I don't wanna break but we're gonna need a break"
"B-break? You mean the chocolate break?"
"Carlos, don't make jokes now. I'm serious"
"I'm sorry, if that's what you want then I'll do whatever it is"
"Thank you for understanding" I just nodded and let go of her.
"I'm gonna have to go now" she sighed. I went to the door about to open but I turned around, ran towards her and kissed her deeply. "I'll be waiting for you" I said and left.

Next day
I was sitting in the cafeteria alone, scrolling through Instagram when Henry came.
"Hey Michelle"
"Hi"
"Why do you look sad?"
"Carlos and I are on a break. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to throw a surprise party, specially after he knew everything"
"What do you mean by everything? What happened?"
"Carlos thought that there's something between you and me. He was tired of trying to wait until he decided to break up with me. I tried to convince him but he wasn't convinced until I told him the truth"
"Oh God, what are you going to do?"
"I'll be waiting until our minds calm down then talk to him. If we were meant to be then we'll get back but if not, we're gonna need to end things"
"I'm sorry Michelle for everything"
"It's fine, just go apologize to him already. Our plan has failed, there's no need to wait anymore"
"I have an idea"
"God help me. What is it?"
"We're gonna let Gio and his friends throw a party for him"
"How is this gonna help?"
"I'll tell you..."
3 days later

"Carlos, come on. I need you to come to my house tonight! 6 o'clock.... No, she won't be there. I need to talk to you that's why.... No, we're not throwing you a surprise party... Did you forget that I haven't talked to her ever since that fight! Stupid Coco.... Kill me? You say that you want to kill me if it's not important..... You dumbass, what sleep session? You sleep all day... You still love her stupid... Yes, you still love her don't deny it.... Ugh, there's no point of talking to you. Bye! See you tonight" I hung up.
