7 ~Aditi asks her Maa~

Aditi's POV

Just a while ago,I was almost to bed with the company of cool breeze and look now.....where I have come.So,he is Rajnath Ishan Chanver....not Ishan anymore...

How could he play with my emotions? He was the only man I ever opened up to.He played the role of soldier and spent time with me all the while knowing that I am a Princess.....Not knowing his motive that he had come to conquer us,I had given my good will to him.

Though I also took the form of a commoner when I met him,now knowing that he is a Chanver I could connect the dots.He knew that I was on my undercover and still managed to act friends with me,asked me things regarding the kingdom,it's development,habits and rituals of this place and it's history so that he could plan an attack to access into our kingdom through one of it's secret entry points.

I took a moment to gather myself and recollected what he mentioned before leaving. ""Let's meet tomorrow at the wedding...Good night my future wife.""

How dare he is to say that??I truly hate him now.The moment I knew he was a Chanver there was anger in me more than enmity.But what has gotten into him.Did I wrongly hear the word marriage??

Ohh..wait ..He wants to marry me??What?Why?We are enemies and how could this happen out of nowhere.He also said something like if you want your family safe and.....ahhh....

Maa....Did anything happen to my Mother and how is my Dad??I need to check on them...I took the duppata and covered myself ,tied my hair and started running towards my Mother's chamber with my heart beating hard.All the way I prayed to God for their welfare.I love them too much to see them suffer.They are my everything...

On entering my Mother's chamber,I saw her sitting on the bed and she seemed anxious.

"Maa,is everything okay?What's going on here?It all seems like a nightmare to me.Please explain me,maa....."I said.

"Aditi,look dear.You will have to listen to me with cool mind,okay?"

"Yeah Maa,but please tell me if Dad is fine too.Those cowards didn't do anything to you right,did they?I am not going to leave Rajnath..." I said with my blood boiling.

"No,dear.We are completely fine but now it's all in your hands Aditi"

I couldn't get what she meant...but I could see some scare and pain clearly conveyed through her eyes.Maa is very much bothered.

""Look,Aditi...I was present in the meeting conducted before Chanver Prince came to meet you""

What?So my mother did know about his arrival to my chamber?

She continued ""There was a meeting between Parvans and Chanvers in the presence of both the kingdom's ministers and royalty.They have planned this night attack to seek avenge for some other thing your dad has done against the rules.You know we had rivalry from so long right??!!""

"Haa Maa...but Dad won't do such a thing,I know"I nodded.

She took my hand in her's and looked a little stiffened and continued,""I don't know how to start Aditi....They are above us now after this conquer,we will have to submit to them and work under them.That was the thing which was decided and your father had nothing to do...He felt so humiliated but just then Rajnath,the Prince took over the situation.He proposed that if we want our kingdom back we will have to settle terms between the kingdoms and remove the rivalry.Chanvers are willing to make peace but since they are not sure from the faith on our side,the Prince suggested that we would become relatives,which means he asked for your hand in marriage."

"Maa,are you serious?What was that?"I said with a horrified expression.

She bit her lips,swallowed a bit so that her voice seemed to sound normal,"Listen Aditi,your dad instantly denied the proposal saying that.....My daughter's happiness is what I am living for.How could I throw my angel into a jungle of enemies not knowing their intentions?I would never send her to such a place where I am the least assured of her safety and happiness...She is the only joy of my life,I can't risk my darling for anything else in this world,instead you can take my head at this very moment....was what your dad said.""said my mother trying to control her tears.
