Ishan's POV

It's no wonder that she is refusing my plea.It signals that I need to get a bit intimidating though my motive is not so.

After shutting the door,I turned to her and made my way.

"What are you up to Rajnath ?" I could hear a trembling voice yet not losing the streak of strength stirred in it.

I reached her," I suppose you prefer completing the incomplete ritual of yesterday than to unweave the impending ritual of today.....am I right Sweetie?"

There was a gasp of breath escaped into the air adding to the intensity of the moment,thickening the atmosphere with unspoken words.....

"What do you mean?Have you.." she was trying to figure out but I plan to make her grasp the point quick....."Isn't that obvious,my lady?The choice is at your mercy.Whether you choose to perform your duty as a wife in this closed chamber or you choose to perform the ritual which is a matter of spending one day outside the chamber keeping up the name of my wife.....the path ahead is yours to pick and proceed."I finished.

I am confident enough of what she decides,which is why I dared to throw her the challenge.This is only a play put up to make her agree since there is nothing in my favour to appease her.I can't degrade Babasa by breaking the ritual of the Chanver kingdom.

I could neither convince her nor could I compel....such is my role.I hope this works if I try to make her believe that it is a better option to perform the ritual today.

I am well aware that I ought not force her duty as a wife to offer herself....which is the least thing I desired for.....The thought itself questions my moral sense but I am sure that I will never be able to do that....especially with the women who rules my heart...

Her reaction went beyond my expectations."Do you think I feel obliged to choose any Rajnath?" ,she said with a mocking tone and turned away.

I held her wrist and pulled her to my side,wanting her to believe that I was being serious.She threw away my hand with such ease,folded her hands,lifted her head in pride and stood there with no hint of timidity.

This attitude of hers just allures me more than her beauty.Her bold spirit shines brighter than her physical charm.....drawing me to her inner light.

When I stepped closer not knowing her spell on me,making my way deep into her eyes.....that moment I could make out that she felt something as her eyes were not pouring the kind of resistance which her gestures does....

She stepped back and there was the bed few more steps away,which blocked her way backwards.She took back herself from my gaze and turned away after giving me a shove. "Remember whom you are dealing with Rajnath...."She continued but I was in no position to take her taunts because it didn't take me long to realise that my plan has backfired....Her unyielding spirit was tougher than what I anticipated.

I got reminded of something which might please her,so I immediately put another plan into action which hadn't knocked my mind earlier.

I followed her as she was moving towards the bed.I picked up a piece of ribbon cloth,straightened it upto my need and finally before she could turn back to my side I succeeded in blindfolding her.

"Rajnath,are you in earnest?What kind of act is this?" she burst out.

"Wait,my lady.Here,take my sword.I am moving away and try to attack or defend based upon your sense." I handed her my sword and this is the last hope I have.

"What?! I haven't finished my training to fight this blind battle.I believe you know that my learning in this dark battle is not well versed."

"That is why I am here,Sweetie.Let me help you with this.Pay attention to what I have to say,firstly you have to locate the direction of sound and I am sure you master it by now......what you need to apply now is by knowing the intensity of my voice,you can estimate the distance between us...." I took the necklace on the table below the mirror.
