JENNIE POV ***************
I had just arrived home from school and went straight to my dad who was watching tv.
"Hey dad" I say in an innocent voice.
"Yes sweetie?" He replied looking at me before looking back the tv.
I took a deep breath before speaking.
"I wanted to talk about the prom tonight" I say making him stop and turn make to me.
"The prom? Has y/n got a date?" He says as I sigh.
"No"
"If your sister's not going your not going, end of story" he says.
"But y/n isn't interested and me I'm dying to go"I says begging him.
" do you know what happens at proms?" He says.
" yes we will dance, kiss and then come home it's not a big deal" I say now standing in front of him blocking the tv.
"Kissing that's what you think happens, well got some new for you sweetie it's not" he says as I roll my eyes.
" so let me make it clear you are not going out and getting jiggy with some boy understand?" He says as I groan before running upstairs and slamming my bedroom door close.
I lay on my bed watching tv when someone knocked on my door.
I rolled my eyes before speaking.
"Come in" I say still staring at the tv.
I slowly look over my shoulder to see y/n. I was surprised since she never comes in my room.
"Listen I know you hate having to sit at home because I'm not going to the prom" she says making me sit up and look at her.
" you know I'm the only person in my year who got asked out to prom and now I can't even go" I say as she slowly sits down next to me.
