The new adventures

Feeling a bit off

I wake up as I blink few times as I feel this awful headache in my head.

"Ughh....what time is it?.." I look around to see where my alarm clock is and it was on ground.
I slowly grab it and than yawn and rub my head. I look at the clock and...it was already 2:32 inthe afternoon?!

"Fuckk I promised my friend I would be there to hear what her important talk was about she wanted to talk about at the old park at 12:30 pm today I hope she didn't actually wait for 2 whole hours me. Now I think about Nah I bet she probably already went home a long time ago ..I guess should call  her to say I am sorry at least and explain "

I grab my phone that was on the end of my bed and open up my phone and start calling her. After a few seconds of waiting for her to answer it went to voicemail. I sigh and put down my phone.

"I am going to guess she has her phone on silent mode or she is busy.." I slowly get out my bed from after days rotting in it and walk out my bedroom. I go in my kitchen and open up the fridge's door and look inside if there was anything I could eat for now. The only things in there was packs of Mountain Dew and just a very old McDonald's cheeseburger.

"You got to be kidding me there's no good food to eat here just only that damn old cheeseburger that probably isn't even good anymore . I guess I gotta grocery shopping today.." I quietly sigh and I put on some pair of clean baggy jeans and an oversized shirt that had stars on it and I grab my phone.

"Ok now let's start goi-" I pause talking as my phone was ringing and I look to see who was calling.
"Oh...it's my friend..I hope I didn't upset her that much that I missed the lunch that I promised go too..." I answered the call it was FaceTime call.

Sam: Hello?
Ellie: Hi Sam.
Sam: You're mad aren't you?
Ellie: Well yes..you didn't come I don't want to make this such a huge deal and all I just want to know the reason that's all...
Sam: I over slept.. I hadn't slept for a while..and I am sorry I can to make it up to any way possible or like a favor.
Ellie: ugh...uh ok.. while I also did call you for a favor anyway again ..
Sam: Oh um..sure what's the favor you want me to do for you?
Ellie: Well I just want you come over at my house and bring In all my new roommates stuff later.
Sam: So when later exactly...?
Ellie: Like at 4:20 would be ok
Sam: 4:20 um ok I can do that well..I got to get going I need to get more food for me...see later.
Ellie: Ok Sam..I'll see you later too bye.
(1st person point of view)

I put my phone in my pocket "She really does asks lot of favors most time but not gonna think about it now let's go and no more stopping me..." I go outside and go in my car and start on the engine as I start driving to the store.

((Time Skip))

I walk inside into my apartment and drop all the grocery bags on the floor and slowly walk to the couch and slump down on my couch. I look at my phone it was 3:46 pm I have to go to Ellie's house soon. I go on YouTube and scroll through YouTube shorts for a bit before I go to Ellie's place..

After minutes watching YouTube shorts and seeing too many green screen kids stealing videos again wishing I had seen something actually entertaining than that...I start heading to Ellie's place.
(Few minutes later)
I arrive at Ellie's place as I text Ellie I am here. I send here a text that I am here at her house. After a few minutes she responded.
