Okay, I know what you're thinking like, is this a Chanel ad or something? But really this is my real life!
I actually have a way normal life for a teenage girl. I mean, I get up, I brush my teeth, I check social media, and I Instagram my outfit.
Of course after that, I eat my kale salad with low fat Italian dressing and my pressed juice. By this time, my best friend, Dior is waiting to pick me up. Isnt she a babe? We were both named after our mothers and just like them, we're best friends can you say #BFFgoals?. She's also my best friend because we both know what it's like to have people sub tweet about us.
We approached the school. As I hopped of the jeep,
(which was moms, and can we just say how unfair that is?!)
I noticed a most unsettling thing. I was being checked out. By those cave men or A.K.A ugh school boys. I cringed at the thought of me even talking to one of those fuckboys. All they want is a hook up and don't even care about feelings. Plus I'm pretty sure they don't even know what 'clean clothes' are.
Yeah right! Or as my mother would say in this situation, "As if!"
First period
Mr.Smith yelled in frustration
"Would everybody please bring the instagraming to a halt please?"
Everyone suddenly looked up from their phones (for a second or two then continued liking and commenting)
"Late again, Mrs.Baldwin?" Mr.Smith question Hailey.
"It's not my fault the barista at Starbucks took fifteen minutes to make my pumpkin spice!"
"Don't let it happen again."
As she walked by my desk she said something along the lines of
"Digging in my laundry again, Blair?"
"Yeah right! F.Y.I this is an Alexander Wang original custom mesh halter! As if I'd ever wear something from target which is where you got that hideous skort."
She rolled her eyes
"Do you prefer fashion victim or ensembly challenged?"
she was about to say something when Mr.Smith asked her : "who from the Great Gatsby said this quote?"-
"All the bright precious things fade so fast..... and they won't come back."
"That would be Gatsby, sir." Hailey said with an assuring smirk
"Mr.Smith, I object!"
"I think I remember Gatsby accurately ."
"We'll I remember Leo DiCaprio correctly and he didn't say that. That Butchanan guy did." the class smiled and whispers were followed shortly after.
"Whatever." Hailey replied with an eye roll
