2AM:
'Spent more money today?' Cairo looks at me.'Oops.' I chuckle.
'We're gonna go bankrupt.' Cairo jokes.
'Don't act like you don't spend money too.' I laugh.
'I'm not saying I don't, but I don't go shopping once a week, like you and Eve do. I go once every two months. Sometimes one.' Cairo looks at me.
'And you spend millions. Because you have a whole shopping spree.' I laugh.
'That is true. But still, you spend more than me. Yearly.' Cairo laughs.
'We spend the same. If you think about it.' I laugh.
'Yeah yeah whatever you say.' Cairo laughs.
'Listen, don't hate me for it. I have all the money and all the resources to maintain my life.' I laugh. 'And so do you.' I nudge him.
'Mhm.' Cairo looks at me and smirks.
I chuckle.
After a couple moments of silence, Cairo looks at me.
'Thank you, Patricia.' he smiles.
'For what? For being rich?' I joke.
Cairo laughs.
'No. Just... for everything. For everything you are.' Cairo smiles.
'What?' I laugh.
'Yeah. Just for being here.' Cairo smiles.
'It's okay. Always.' I chuckle.
'And thank you for... for helping me get better when I needed to. And for giving me the time I needed.' he smiles.
'You knew I wasn't going to let you go that easily. I love you, bro. I've told you this before.' I look into his eyes.
'I know. I love you too.' he chuckles and pulls me into a hug.
'Thank you so much.' Cairo kisses my forehead.
'Of course.' I smile and peck him.
Cairo chuckles.
