Bringing Magic Back

Roxy and the Winx saved the city by defeating the Wizards of the Black Circle, making the return of the fairies to Earth more imminent. They celebrate with the Specialists by throwing a concert, featuring Musa, at the Frutti Music Bar.

It was a normal Saturday and the girls were hanging out in their loft with Roxy. Stella just finished doing the dishes, while Tecna sat at her computer, with Phoebe standing beside her.

"Do you think shorter hair would suit me? Or maybe a different hairstyle?" Musa asked as she looked into a hand mirror.

"Are you kidding?" Stella asked as she, Bloom and Roxy walked up the the other girls. The Princess of Solaria flexed her long hair.

"Hair is the most effective weapon of seduction a girl can have."

"Oh really?" Tecna asked, making Phoebe giggle slightly. "And I thought it was the brain!"

"Well, that's just my opinion. But no one rocks the pixie cut quite like you Tecna." Stella said, walking closer to the Tech Fairy.

"You know actually cutting my hair might not be such a bad idea." Phoebe said, as she ran a hand through her long hair.

"What?!" Stella exclaimed. "Phoebe, Crown Princess Of Astoria, Fairy Of Celestial Magic! Don't you even think about it!"

The girls all laughed out loud at Stella's outburst.

"Maybe Jason likes short hair, then he might notice me more and not just for my voice." Musa said.

"Jason Queen, the record producer? Guess he made a strong impression, huh?" Stella said, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't you think you are moving a bit too fast, Musa?" Phoebe asked. "Jason is nice and everything but you hardly even know him."

"You're right Phoebe, but I wanna start looking ahead. Riven's a part of my past." Musa replied.

Roxy watched the girls talk, being both confused and curious.

"They're fairies, but they live their lives just like regular girls. I wonder if I'll be able to do that, too."

Bloom noticed the far off look in the girl's eyes, immediately kmowing what she was thinking about.

"I know you're concerned, Roxy. Believe me, I understand. I felt exactly the same way."

She spoke out loud to the Fairy of Animals. "Don't worry. You will get used to it, trust me."

"Get used to it?" Roxy asked out loud and then put her hand over her mouth, realizing she had been caught. "I mean…"

"I am talking about your powers." Bloom said smiling at the girl. "At first it was hard for me, too. Knowing that I was a fairy scared me almost as much as thinking about my future."

"I can't even imagine how my future's gonna be like."

"Hey, Roxy! What's wrong?" Musa asked. "C'mon! You can talk to us."

"Thanks guys. It's just that I always thought that my future would be here, in Gardenia." Roxy said, thinking back to all the things that had happened lately. "But now, well, I know that I have some special powers, and that's great but I also know that these powers might take me far, far away from here. Away from the only home that I've ever known."

"I know you can do it. The important thing is to never give in to fear." Phoebe encouraged.

"I know I am the Fairy of Animals, Phoebe. But…" Roxy stuttered.

"Aren't you happy?" Bloom asked. "This is your destiny!"

Tecna's laptop suddenly beeped and Headmistress Faragonda appeared on the screen.
