JASMINE OPENS HER EYES from her five hour sleep at 9am in the morning. When she looks over to her clock, she sighs, dragging her hands down her face in exasperation.
She groans, stretching as she stands up from her bed. "what to wear." She says, walking over to her clothing drawers. She didn't pack much.
"Looks like i'm going shopping today." She continues, yawning as she walks into her bathroom to brush her teeth.
She didn't care enough to change into a pair of clothes she didn't like, so she just walked downstairs in her pajamas after brushing her teeth.
"Hey." She says when she sees Elena, Damon, and Alaric standing in the kitchen.
"Mornin, sunshine." Damon replies in response, making her roll her eyes at his words.
"Hey, Jas. You going to the Lockwood party?" Elena cuts in, literally cutting food with a knife in her hand.
"I guess." Jasmine shrugs, sitting down at one of the chairs around the kitchen counters. She watches Damon and Elena interact, bumping each other with their hips.
Honestly, Jasmine feels bad for Stefan in a weird way. She doesn't even know the dude, but damon flirting with his ex girlfriend makes her feel bad for him.
She looks to the side to see Alarics expression the same as hers, a grimace. "Why are you here, exactly?" He continues to ask, making her laugh.
"She knows." Damon responds, glancing over at Elena as he cuts the chili instead of elena doing it.
"He thinks i'm gonna break." Elena says, "i'm not going to break. I'm just gonna keep making chili, and pretend i'm not looking for someone who didn't want to be found."
Jasmine frowns, "what?"
"I- uh- Jasmine, we- i have to talk to you about something." Elena sighs, giving up. She knows how it went with Jeremy not knowing, and she's not going to do that again. Not to Jasmine.
"She's in denial." Damon then whispers.
"I'm not in denial." Elena grunts, looking over at damon.
"No? You're still wearing this necklace. Isn't this a reminder of your unbreakable bond with Stefan?" Damon continues to say, holding elena's necklace in his hand.
