ELENA, JASMINE, STEFAN, AND Damon are all standing in the Gilbert kitchen, talking about the Mikaelson's all being alive, which jasmine is hiding her overwhelming excitement for deep down. She doesn't really care about the other ones, but Rebekah and maybe Elijah is what makes her excited.
"It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin." Elena explains as she looks at her sister, ex boyfriend, and ex boyfriend's brother.
"As in the original witch?" Stefan replies in response, with furrowed eyebrows.
"What? How is she even alive?" Damon adds, "I thought her hybrid freak of a son ripped her heart out 1000 years ago." He continues to say.
"I don't know. I guess she has connections in the witching community." Elena sighs, leaning on the countertop.
"That would make sense, considering she is the 'original witch'" Jasmine speaks up, shrugging her shoulders in confusion.
"Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family. Including Klaus." Elena grimaces as she says.
"That's definitely a load of bullshit. Who gets left in a coffin for a thousand years by her son and wakes up to want to be a big old happy family with him again?" Jasmine scoffs, shaking her head in disbelief.
"Yeah, and wasn't she supposed to be the secret weapon to kill Klaus?" Stefan adds in, glancing over at Jasmine before looking back at Elena.
"Yeah, well. Not anymore. At least, not according to Elijah." Elena replies in response.
"That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds." Stefan explains as he crosses the kitchen with a look of determination plastered on his face.
"Anyone else feeling a little used right now?" Damon says, whilst Jasmine rolls her eyes at the dude.
Jasmine glances over at Stefan, who's focused on something else. She furrows her eyebrows in confusion. "You good?" She asks.
He looks over at her, and clears his throat before nodding in response.
"Look, Elijah said that he wouldn't let his family hurt any of us. I believe him." Elena says, just as the doorbell rings. She rushes to the door quickly to check who's there.
"It's an envelope!" She exclaims, walking back inside to show the very fancy looking envelope to the three.
She opens it, peeling the red thing off, and reading what was said on the paper. Jasmine frowns at the sight 'Please join the Mikaelson Family — this evening at seven o'clock. For dancing, cocktails, and celebration.'
