the night was at peace as the crickets chirped their tunes, street lights flickering to give the world a path of sight. The moon smiled to the people who walked the streets, ready to be at peace to the dreams  that pull them to see the sun so bright . The city was alive as the weekend came and shift were coming to an end, and for the colonel that meant he could have a drink.  The shift that he went through drained him so, heading to the bar that was ran by miss Christmas. The night was quiet as the streets were filled with small music and couples dancing in the buildings. Almost makes him feel slightly jealous of it all, even if  the company of his friends helped he couldn't help feeling alone. In the whole ordeal of his own thoughts he ran into someone knocking them both down. "Shit my apologizes I wasn't-" He looked up only to see a pair of (f/c) eye glaring at him. (y/n). "Watch where you are going you flame brain, what's your deal?!"

Almost blinking all of his thoughts  away he snapped back into his own personality. "Well were looking at all yourself  pipsqueak?!" A smirk filled his face before he noticed she was in a beautiful (f/c) dress, nothing to fancy  but enough for a night out. Sighing  he got up and gave her a hand "you look nice, may I know where you are heading?". Taking his hand a small smile pushed past her lips. "Trying to take me out Roy? so formal of you." At that moment it felt as if Roy's heart was in his throat, his face felt hot as he looked away. "I just wanted to know where you were headed." He said through his teeth, almost making him sound annoyed. (y/n) watched him almost surprised by his tone, she watched as she looked at their locked hands. Pulling her hand away and pat her dress clean, looking at the time she was late.

"listen Roy I don't have time, if you want a drink i'll pay for it." Giving a soft smile before Roy could say anything, they were off. Heading to a small bar they sat outside, ordered food, got some drinks. the night went almost perfect, the conversation between the two filled the air as the whiskey filled Roy's system. (y/n) watched as he couldn't  keep his mouth shut about anything, they had only been back in central for almost a year now. Her brothers have been under his command and for herself  she hasn't had a mission since ishvail. shaking her head she continued listening to him, sweat dripped down her head as she realized he was being louder than before. "alright Roy I think its time to turn in for the night, ill help you home." Smiling and paying for the tab , helping him up and with his coat. "Now Now my lady a gentleman doesn't need help with his coat." Laughing and stumbling (y/n) watched as her face burned, still helping out and bringing him home.

The trip was a lot more difficult then she thought, Roy wouldn't stop moving around and acting like an idiot. The more she thought about it the more she wanted to leave him on the side of the road, but that wouldn't do her any good. As she got closer to his place the more and more he got difficult to keep a hold on him, causing her grip on him to fall along with him. Grabbing onto the closest thing Roy grabbed (y/n) pulling  her down will him with a big crash. There on the grass by the side walk they laid, the two bodies meshed together like a perfect puzzle. Roy's hands rested on (y/n)'s hips while her hand were planted next to his head, their eyes were latched onto one another. Heat rose to both of their faces as they stayed  in place no one made any moves, no sudden breaths as they were only a few inches away from each other's faces. The heat from Roy's hands made a shiver run down (y/n)'s body, gulping the saliva that was built up. Pushing herself off Roy gently she dusted herself off, Roy watched her as he looked at his hands that were once so close to her.

Roy sat up  and got carefully, his heart raced as he moved. Walking toward (y/n) he hugged around her, laying his head against her shoulder.  Not knowing what to really do (y/n) stood there, enjoying the embrace that was being given. No words were said through the rest of the night as they made it to Roy's, helping with the keys (y/n) took him to his room watching him flopping on the bed. Moving him to his side then to his closet to get him something else to wear beside the work clothes  she's seen him in all day. While her back was turned Roy watched her close, his mind was racing but he had no intentions to act on any of them or anything. His head was spinning the more he laid there, the more the sleep was creeping up on him.
