The Elrics made their way to the abandoned building, carefully investigating their surroundings. (y/n)'s heart was pounding, this was the first time in a while she had been on a mission, especially with her brothers. She couldn't mess up, she needed to redeem herself in some way. Making their way father into the building, it was quiet for their taste. Ed gave his siblings a small nod to spread out and look around for any clues. This was weird, being sent out to an abandoned building but no one being in sight. They made sure that they were not being followed and no one was able to see them, so what was going on. Carefully the three split up and went their was searching for any possible clues to tell them something. (y/n) was on high alert as she walked by herself, this was abnormal. The whole situation was to find out what was going on but something in her mind told her this was a trap, the silence, the emptiness. Looking around the area after snapping herself from her thoughts, she stopped. A wall in front of her had alchemy marks, anyone would of walked by it but not an alchemist. Clasping her hands together then touching the wall, a blue light dancing with hits of red lowered the wall as she walked on.
*Ed's pov*
This whole building was getting stranger and stranger the more I looked around. Abandoned or not there were more than enough boxes to hide any type of information someone could be looking for. This was strange indeed. Breaking open a box to only find nothing in them, the more boxes opened the more empty I found them. Groaning in frustration i gave up and walked over to Al. "Hey Al, did you find anything yet? All these boxes are empty." Shoving my hands in my pockets I look over at Al as he didn't respond to a thing I say. Huffing i walk to his side only to see him holding papers in hand as he read. Tapping him on the head he looked up at me finally. "Geez Al, I ask you a simple question and you don't even answer me!" "Brother, these papers.." His voice was soft and almost sorrowed filled, sighing I grabbed one of them and read on. Reading word for word, line for line my face dropped slowly. These papers could get someone killed. The information obtained and written on them could cause some damage. Gripping onto them I gave Al a look of anger. "Grab as many as you can, lets get them to the-" In a quick instant I blocked an attack that flung me to a near by wall. "Brother!" Al screamed.
*(y/n)'s pov*
Walking down the stairs ahead of me, slowly a bad feeling slid down my spine. Shaking the feeling away, I walked on. Carefully scanning my surroundings and keeping my head high I found a door near the end of the corridor. Taking my steps lightly and holding my breath, I grabbed the door handle opening it slowly. Looking in the crack of the door my eyes widened as a smell of blood seeped out the door. Opening the door all the way the sight that fallen in front of me was more than enough evidence that they needed. Backing away slowly only to run into a stiffen surface made almost all my instincts vanish. In a quick instant the being attacked only to miss by a few centimetres as I dropped to the ground, this wasn't gonna be good at all. Rusty and unprepared, doing what would be best deciding to ,run. Heading up the stairs as quick as i could only to see Ed and Al fighting. The adrenaline was bagging through my head, the will to run and the will to fight was battling against each other. A decision had to be made and quickly before anyone could get hurt. Before any matter to think a blade had been drawn and stabbed with in me.
*3rd person*
The moment was slow as everything happened, The blade coming down and the boy's stare as they watched the scene play in front of them. The blood from the blade dripped as (y/n)'s body fell to the ground, in that moment the world played once again. Ed's eyes widened as he saw his sister fall to the ground, with out any thought he ran to her. Laughter filled the air as the culprit walked out from the shadows, it was envy. He watched as the pipsqueak ran to her, screaming and shaking her. "Aw come on now, i didn't kill her did I? I was just trying to have fun with her!" It was true, he seemingly didn't kill her but then again did he really know. Ed hugged around his sister as tears pricked his eyes in disbelief, she was not answering and the worse thoughts came to mind as Al come running too. Gripping onto his sister Ed stood and formed his blade, attacking envy. Al watched as he tried to stop the bleeding with (y/n)'s coat, this is not what needed to be happening. Even if she was laying there in their own blood, Al could still feel the warmth of her as his own "hands" covered in red. (y/n) laid there helplessly as her (f/c) eye's moved with Ed as he fought for her, she needed to prove herself. That phrase ran through her head as she carefully sat up, thankful that Al didn't notice her. Standing on her own two feet she new what needed to be done, clasping her hands together and lading them on her wound as blue and more red light formed around them.
