A new day, another day to live. I don't deserve any of this thing we call living, but whatever life throws at me, I somehow manage to duck and let it hit someone else.
Oh let my bad I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Louis James, I'm 18 and in college! I'm friends with Scarlett and Ayla, my only friends basically.
Well.. lets just go on about my day and hope for the worse. "Hey scarlett!", I call to her as im walking through the filled school hall to my locker.
Scarlett is normally with Ayla but i guess she didnt come to school today. "Hi Louis!", She said sounding angelic as usual.
I might admit i have a teeny tiny crush on scarlett, but i think she knows that by the way i look at her with such a jubilant gaze.
"You look sad.. is it because of how Ayla isnt here or..?", I asked since the conversetion became dry.
"Oh no.. im just scared about our finals, since its our last year of college..", She replied, she did look scared but i believed in her, i always haved.
I hope she does well but I suppose I can propose now before something happens. "Hey Scarlett, I was wondering do you want to be more than friends..?", I asked hoping she would say yes.
"I'm sorry but I'm not ready for love yet.." she said sincerely, I understood because she probably would wanted to focus on her life and I agree
I would do the same thing if i was her. I nod "I understand, you dont have to apologize..", I said, Later through out the school we did our finals.
they said that people who werent here would take their finals tomorrow, I had to hangout with scarlett since she and ayla were my only friend.
Later through the day not much happened, just me and scarlett, she promised in the future we would get together, i didnt know what to say but nod.
We went back to our dorms, i didnt share a dorm with anyone and neither did scarlett which made me feel more better for some reason.
We had a groupchat we would talk on after school, i texted the group chat, <Hey Ayla, why didnt you come today?> I waited for a response.
after a few minutes, she answered, <I'm sick> she texted back, Scarlett hadn't texted yet she was probably finishing up the homework we had.
We talked to each other for a while.
L.J - <Oh well we had the finals today>
A.J. - < I'm gonna take it tomorrow since I just have a cold.>
S.P - <Hey Ayla!>
A.J - <Hi Scarlett, just finished your homework?>
S.P - < Yeah, also took a shower>
A.J - < Ok, well I'm gonna go to bed, bye guys!>
L.J - <Same, Good night guys!>
S.P - <Night!>
That was the end of the chat we had. I haven't really been active on texting All the time and I suppose Ayla is relieved to see me getting back to my texting ways.
