Caitlin is excited to see Paige again and they were sending each other Tik Toks the whole plane-ride. I just kept my headphones on and glanced over at her phone from time to time.

We got off the plane and got to the celebrations, once Caitlin had finally got off her phone, she was talking about the Cleveland cavaliers now...great, now she won't stop for another hour, luckily Jada saves me about 30 minutes in as Lisa wanted Caitlin.
I was at one of the tables looking through the gifts and whatever when Jada came back to me.
"What are you thinking about Kate?" Jada asked putting her forearms on the table.
"Just the game and stuff, I can't wait to get to the hotel, I'm totally jet-lagged right now..."
"Really? Your mind seems more occupied than that." Jada said as she looked at me questionably.
"I don't know, I can't even figure it out myself, maybe it was the plane ride."
Okay maybe I wasn't honest about the plane ride to Cleveland, I pretty much scrolled through Paige's tik Tok and Instagram, I didn't follow her or anything. She seemed like she had good humor from the Tik Toks she sent Caitlin, plus it wasn't like I was stalking her or anything, just some friendly getting to know the star player of the other team. I hadn't seen her since we lost that game to her in that sweet sixteen, I was curious, that's all.
