Chapter 31 : "Whispers of Longing"

Boss and Fort exited the cabin and spotted Noeul and Peat...

They were sitting at their desks, engaged in lively conversation and laughter.

For the first time, Fort laid eyes on Peat, and he was captivated by his charm. Peat was so handsome and adorable...Fort couldn't tear his gaze away.

Fort approached Noeul and greeted him warmly.

Fort: "Hey Noeul. I'm happy for you both."

Noeul: "Hi, Phi, Thanks," he replied,

Fort: "Don't you want to introduce me to your friend?" Fort looked excitedly at Peat, his expression revealing his interest.

Noeul: "Sure, phi. This is Peat, my colleague here, but we've become best friends."

Fort: "Nice to meet you, Peat. I'm Fort."

Peat: "Hello," he replied, shaking Fort's hand.

Fort: "I must say, you're very charming and attractive."

Peat: "I already know that.."

Fort chuckled at Peat's response, while Noeul nudged him.

Fort: "Hey, can you both come with us for dinner? We're heading out."

Noeul: *Glancing at Boss, uncertain how to respond.*

Boss: *Whispering to Fort* "When did you plan this?"

Fort: "Ignore that. Just say yes."

Boss: "Ah, Yes, we are going.."

Noeul: *Seeking approval from Boss with a hesitant look.*

Boss: *softly* "Come on, baby, let's go."

Fort: "And Noeul, bring your friend along too."

Noeul: *Eagerly* "Peat, come with us, please!"

Peat: "No, Noeul, you guys go ahead. I'll pass."

Noeul: "Come on, Peat, it'll be fun. Please join us."

After Noeul pleaded with him, Peat finally relented and agreed to join them.

Peat: "Alright, for you, I'll make an exception."

Fort: "Great, thanks!"

Boss intervened: "Shall we all head to the restaurant now?"

As they left, Boss pulled Fort aside.

Boss: "Hey, ease up on the flirting, okay? Peat is my Eul's friend."

Fort: "I can't help but find him attractive. I'm not going to stop pursuing him."

Boss smirked: "You say that about everyone."

Fort laughed: "No, seriously, this time it's different. I really like him."

Boss cautioned: "Just don't hurt him or cause problems with their friendship, okay? And make sure he's interested before making any moves."

Fort assured him: "Don't worry, I'll be careful."

Boss: "You don't even know if he's interested in guys or girls, you idiot,?"

Fort, laughing: "Well, I'll check... Don't worry. If he's into girls, then it'll be my misfortune. I'll stop flirting with him."

While Boss and Fort were engaged in conversation, Noeul and Peat were having their own discussion nearby......

Noeul: "Peat, you should say thanks when someone praises you..."
