Screams... endless screams of people dying or being taken as stormtroopers marched in the streets. My parents: I remembered seeing their worried faces before hiding me behind a few crates. I was only 3 years old. Young and afraid while gripping onto a doll that my mother had given to me since I was born. The screams continued along with the sound of droids, drones, gunshots and even orders being thrown about from one end of the street to the other.

I just remembered crying the whole time. But I remembered my mother simply telling me to stay low and quiet until they came back for me. I didn't know when the sounds would stop. I was too focused on being afraid.

It was too much for me to handle to the point where I remember closing my eyes and wishing it would all end. The strangers that found me as I remained asleep in my hidden place took me away. I didn't know when or where I was until I had woken up upon a ship.

Scavengers. They took me to another place that I later will call home. Tatooine.

I wanted my parents more than anything. I wasn't sure why this planet was a place I assumed they would be at, but something possessed me to break free from my chain that was around my small ankle and run into the night.

I didn't know how long or how far I ran. It became too much where I laid tired upon the sand and exhausted. Not to mention hungry and thirsty. Those scavengers didn't even offer me a single slice of bread while I was in their custody.

I was eventually discovered by someone who I now call brother. Di Trark. He was the reason for why I am still alive today.

"Wake up, Lumira!" I hear my brother Di Trark's barking which woke me up from my nap. I shot up and was quick to grab my weapon and follow him to the hill that we remained hidden behind overnight.

I joined him and two other clan members who were also ready at his command. A'Skeect and Ruzin. It was to check on our herd of Bantha. We lost them thanks to Ruzin's carelessness for sleeping on the watch. A'Skeect was young so this was one of the tasks for him to learn into becoming an adult.

I followed my brother out here as he's older and in charge. I enjoyed being around him, it was better than sitting inside the hut.

On my brother's signal, we began scouting the area before being able to bring the herd back without any struggles. Ruzin received a scolding from my brother.

Tusken Raiders are separated by how they are dressed; Females display jewelry while the males are dressed in rough wrappings and garments. Our Uli-ah are dressed in simple smocks and shrouds until they become of age. When I was taken in, I too wore such garments until I became of age. Only my parents and brother know my face.

Once we got back, I could see our father, the Chief of our tribe. He stood tall while our mother came from behind him. My brother was about to speak but father raised his hand up to him and went to Ruzin.
