              *I am just staring at the window in silence until we land*

me: *getting out and greeting the queen, and T'challa* thank you again for allowing me to come here, I believe this is the start of a beautiful relationship 😊

Queen: I hope you are right miss Rodgers

me: oh it's y/l/n.

Queen: my apologies, it was my understanding that Mr. Rodgers is your father.

me: well he is it's just-

Bucky: *saving me* she just likes to be different *laughs and hugs the queen* you look lovely

Queen: I'm so glad you agreed to stay, James. We have a room ready for you in the castle— unless you want to stay in your old hut.

me: *internally* he's staying? tf??

bucky: I figured we would both have huts? considering the point of this trip is for her to connect with the people...

T'challa: *looks at me for approval*

Shuri: *turns to look between bucky and I again* I have a lot of questions for you.

T'Challa: *gives her a dirty look*

me: uhm ok-

shuri: let me show you to my lab, someone will take your bags for you.

me: oh- ok

shuri: *drags me off*

*we get away from the others*

shuri: so you got your powers in the redroom right?

me: uhm yeah- it's just super strength tho.

shuri: well yeah, but super strength with no physical change is impressive *sounds bored tho*

me: this isn't what you really want to talk about is it?

shuri: honestly- I just want to get to know you. my people don't really care as a whole, but everyone who is a friend of James does. when you left he was messed up.

me: i didn't leave by choice, trust me.

shuri: none the less you decided to join the avengers- a choice that hit him the hardest.

me: that's why you all didn't support me signing the accords?
