As the class proceeded, we were told to make the potion Draught of the Living Death. Who ever made the potion most perfect would win a bottle of liquid luck. And you want to know who won the liquid luck? Well it wasn't me!

"When did you become so good at potions?" I sneered at Harry as we left potions class. "If I remember correctly, I was the one not only tutoring you last year, but I was also completing your homework half of the time!"

"You never did our homework!" Ron said.

"Yeah, but I knew you copied," I said like a know it all. "Now tell me Harry, how in gods name did you do it?"

"I would also like to know," Hermione added.

"I s'pose you think I've cheated," Harry admitted.

"That's exactly what I was thinking," I heaved as Hermione said, "Well it wasn't exactly your work, was it?"

"He followed different instructions then our books," Ron told us. "Could have been catastrophic if they were wrong, couldn't it have? But you took a risk and it paid off." Ron heaved a sigh. "I could have gotten that book. My book had no writing on it. I think there might have been puke on page five but no writing-"

"Silence your whining, Ron," I snapped. I was very agitated at the moment. I hated when people where better then me at the things I excelled at. But it ticked me off further that he is really horrid at potions.

"Hang on," Ginny's voice appeared from next to Ron. "Did I hear right? You're taking instructions from a book?"

"Have you learned nothing from our experience?" Alex asked Harry from beside Ginny.

"Yes, but it's nothing like Riddle's diary!" Harry argued. "It's just an old book that that someone's scribbled on."

Ginny seemed pissed at the moment and nothing was changing that mood for her.

I on the other hand was a bit confused... Riddle's diary... it sounds familiar but what- ohhhh the book that possessed Ginny and Alex. Yes, I was told that story last year.

"But your doing what it says?" Ginny asked.

"I've just taken in some of the hints written on the sides," Harry coincided. "There's nothing funny about it-"

"Ginny's got a point, Harry," Hermione said. "We ought to check that there's nothing wrong with it."

She tried grabbing the book from him, but Harry pulled it closer to his chest and have her a look whilst saying, "Hey!"

"Accio," I chanted pointing my wand at the book as it soared from Harry's grasp to my hands.

"Specialis Revelio!" I casted pointing my want at the book.

When nothing happened Harry looked at me with an irritable look. "Finished? Or do you want to wait for it to do back flips."

"Seems fine, Mr. Master of Sass," I snapped.

He snatched the book back into his grip before walking ahead of us.

"I think we should get him a chill pill," Ginny sighed.

"I think you should kiss him," I mumbled.

"What?" she asked.

"What?" I repeated.

She shook her head, but I could tell she was blushing as she quickened her speed and walked away from us.

~~~
"I have to go, Dumbledore wants me," Harry said walking out of the common room.
"Have fun," I chuckled.
