"You guys know what I'm gonna say so I'll make it quick," Geno began. The game was going to start in just a minute or so, and the team was more confident than ever. "Play hard, don't catch stupid fouls, let's go."

One thing about Geno was the second the ref blew the whistle for the game to begin, Geno immediately locked in. Though he wasn't playing, he got into a harder headspace than everyone combined, if you tried talking to him during gameplay, you'd probably get yelled at.

Now that exact whistle blew, which called Paige, Sofia, Aaliyah, Aubrey, and Nika onto the court. Paige rubbed Sofia's shoulder, "You got this," she muttered to her. A small gesture, but it meant the world to Sofia.

The brunette smiled softly, "You too."

The game began and it was UConn's ball, and Paige had already taken a 3. Which, of course, went in.

Though the game had only start just a few minutes ago, Sofia already was beginning to feel light-headed. Maybe consuming nothing but Celsius and water for the past few days wasn't the best idea before a game, but she shook it off and played through it.

The minute the whistle for the end of Q1 was blown, Sofia's hands were on her knees as she tried to shake the feeling of wanting to pass out and throw up all at once. To say the least, it was overwhelming her.

It looks like Perez over in the corner is having some trouble, perhaps breathing? Let's hope she pulls herself together by halftime. UConn is up, but only by a few points.

Sofia lifted her jersey, wiping the sweat off her face before preparing for the second quarter.

And that's half! The current score is 33-20 on UConn, who seems to be playing incredibly today. They have a strong starting lineup but Perez seems to be in a state of discomfort.

Sofia sat on the bench, face distorted. She tried drinking water, but the more she drank the worse she felt. So, she only placed her water down and just laid there for a moment.

Paige's face filled with concern. She's seen Sofia like this during a game before, and that was when she had ended up in the hospital by the end of the night. Paige knew something was going on the minute Sofia had turned down Chipotle the other day, then when Nika had told her the pair hadn't bought food in weeks. Connecting the dots, she panicked, running to her back in the locker room in hope that someone had something for Sofia to eat, anything.

Luckily, she'd found a protein bar in her own bag, rushing back to the bench to accommodate to the girl. "Hey, Sof. Can you eat this, please?"

Sofia only glanced at Paige and saw what was in her hand before immediately shaking her head, "No, Paige I'm fine I promise."

"Okay but you're not because the last time you played in a game like this was when you went to the hospital and I'm not letting that happen again," Paige stated harshly. She seemed mad, but in reality she was only worried.

Sofia rolled her eyes, finally making eye contact with Paige's icy eyes. It was hard, but she kept the eye contact if it meant Paige would believe her more. "Are you not hearing me when I say I'm fine, Paige? Leave me the fuck alone," she scoffed.
