The plane landed 35 Kilometers off the coast of Hong Kong Lamma Islands. Jotaro and the others had no choice but to divert to Hong Kong. Hong Kong! Hong Kong Islands! Kowloon! The New Territories! With more than 235 islands in this area, Hong Kong and its breathtaking night scape is known internationally for its 'Million Dollar World View.'

Joseph talked in a phone booth to Speed Wagon Foundation as the four chatted about what to do next. "Please make sure it's only the crew and us. Yes, right. We don't want any more victims." Joseph talked to the people on the other line. "Hey, big guy! You don't look like you're from around here. Can't come to Hong Kong and not try our Dim Sum and Rice porridge. We have hot cola, too!" A street vendor advertised to Jotaro. "Rice porridge, eh? Not bad. Did you know, Jojo? Unlike in Japan, rice porridge is a staple here in Hong Kong. One bowl, the popular way, with pork and century egg." Kakyoin orders. "In that case, I'll have-" "Hey! Do you guys really think we have time to eat? We're going to my old favorite." Joseph demands and walks towards the group. "Old Man, who were you just calling just now?" Jotaro turned to Joseph. "Hm? Oh, I'll explain when we get to the restaurant. We need to devise a plan to get us to Egypt as safely and quickly as possible." Joseph replies. The group took the local tram to Joseph's favorite restaurant in Hong Kong. When the four arrived, they continued their conversation. "Traveling by plane is the quickest option, but it's out of the question now. If we encounter another Stand user like the last one on a commercial flight, we'll cause a disaster that will harm many people. We'll have to get to Egypt by land or sea." Joseph proposes. Maomao gives a disgusted expression as Joseph proposes to travel by sea. "But if we fail to find Dio in fifty days..." Avdol looks down solemnly. Everyone looks away from each other, thinking about what they have risked if they fail. "If we could have stayed on that plane, we'd probably be in Cairo now," Kakyoin comments about the time. "I'm well aware of that. But it's too soon to panic!" Joseph closes his eyes. "huh?" Everyone listens in to see what he has to say.

"A hundred years ago, Jules Verne wrote a novel. 'Around the World in 80 Days'. That's a journey of 40,000 kilometers. And that was the era of steam engines and steamboats. Even without a plane, we can easily cover the 10,000 Kilometers to Egypt in fifty days. As for the route, we will go by sea. We can charter a decent-sized boat and circumvent the Malay Peninsula to the Indian Ocean. A Silk Road of the sea as it was." Joseph takes out a map and points to the locations he spoke of. "I agree, that is best. Crossing borders could cause trouble, and we'd have to cross the Himalayas and the desert. We could lose a great deal of time. The dangers are too many." Avdol nods. "I have never traveled to those places using either route; I have no input."

Kakyoin looks to Maomao to see what she has to say. "Whatever Mr Joestar's call is. He knows best." She nods and looks to Jotaro. "Same," Jotaro nods. "Then it's decided the greatest danger ahead is the Stand users sent by Dio. The question is, how do we sneak around Egypt undetected?" Joseph puts his map back. "Have you ever been to Hong Kong?" Kakyoin asks Maomao as he opens the teapot lid and places it upside down on the table, signaling for more tea. "I've been a few times." She sighed, looking around the familiar location.

"Pardon me, sorry to bother you. I'm visiting from France and having difficulties reading this menu. Would you, perchance, be able to tell me what these characters mean?" A man of above-average height and muscular build came up to the group. He had a receded hairline, silvery hair in a tall flat, and a lack of eyebrows. He also wore earrings in the shape of jaggedly halved hearts. He wore a fitted black tube top, shoulder-less except for one strap running from his chest over his left shoulder, and light trousers with pouches tied to the belt on each of his hips. Maomao looked up to the man and nodded. "Sure-" "You're annoying. Get outta here." Jotaro growled, cutting Maomao off, and pointed to the exit.

"Come on now, Jotaro. Give him a break. I've been to Hong Kong a few times, enough to read the menu at least. Why don't you join us?" Joseph offered the French man a seat at the table. Kakyoin looked to Joseph and then back to Maomao; Maomao sighed and shook her head, not wanting to involve herself in extra banter after such a tiring experience with the plane. "Let's see what sounds good... how about some shrimp, duck, shark fin, and something with mushrooms?" Joseph asked the group; without waiting for an answer, he called the waiter over and ordered from the menu. When the dishes arrived, the group stared in confusion. "This looks like beef, fish, frogs, and clams to me.." Avdol comments on the dishes. "Indeed, this is quite different from what Mr Joestar claimed to have ordered." Kakyoin agrees. "I knew this would happen." Jotaro was unfazed by this incident. The French man merely stared with his jaw wide open in shock. Joseph lets a big laugh, "Well, it doesn't matter. It's all on me! Besides, it doesn't matter what you order, it's all delicious. All right, everyone, dig in!" Joseph starts to take food from the shared dishes. "Maomao, you should have just spoken up and used your Chinese to ordered," Jotaro commented. Maomao merely kept quiet and took a piece of the beef. Everyone took a bite of different dishes, pleasantly surprised by the satisfying taste. "See that? And you were worried." Joseph lets out another hearty laugh with a closed-eye smile. "Well, they've taken their time to prepare each dish. Look at these carrots, for example, cut into perfect little stars. In fact, they remind me of something..." The French man picked up a carrot and stared at it. The five all glare at the foreign man, ready to fight at any moment. "I remember now. Someone I know has that mark, a birthmark just like this near the back of his neck." The man drags the conversation out. "You... Are you another Stand user?" Kakyoin asks. The man places the carrot in the location of all the Joestar's birthmarks. Suddenly, from under a table, a shiny rapier stabs upwards. "Mr Joestar! Watch out!" Avdol shouts. "It's a stand!" Joseph blocks the sharp rapier with his bionic hand.

Avdol flips the table and calls out his Stand. "Magician's Red!" The bird-like Stand appears on demand and shoots burning hot flames at the man. The man's Stand cuts through the fire, surprising everyone. The Stand was a thin, robotic humanoid clad in silver; it had medieval armor and was armed with a basket-hilted foil. Although thin, it wields heavy plate armor spiked at the shoulder and elbow pads. The mystery Stand could flick its rapier in the direction of a table standing vertically, causing the flames on the rapier to be propelled that way with the wind. "he has such speed with his sword..." Kakyoin notices. Jotaro steps forward to shield Maomao from the fight about to blow up. "My Stand is the Chariot card, and his name is... Silver Chariot! Mohammad Avdol, it appears you wish to die first! I've engraved a burning clock into that table. I shall defeat you before the clock hits twelve!" The man's Stand points his sword in Avdol's direction.
