You seeing what I'm seeing?

I blinked. Then I blinked again. This isn't a dream and I kept trying to prove that it was. I just can't seem to get out of any situation with Hu Tao in it.

"What?"

"You two are dating, aren't you? Your faces say so." She grinned victoriously at my panicked expression.

"No!? I-.. we're just..-" I denied. However, it was just now that I realized, she's messing with me.

I cleared my throat as she awaited my next move. It's just like a game of chess. However, I'm currently in check..

So, I'll just take a big breath in, and act confident. As the secretary of the Student Council, I cannot lose!

"For your information Miss Tao, Scaramouche Raiden has a girlfriend."

I hadn't mean to say that, though..

Scaramouche, who was minding his own business, checking papers, and drinking water, but somehow still heard his name, started choking on the water he just now sipped from his bottle.

"Yeah. You." Hu Tao smirked at me.

'Checkmate.' The auditor of The Student Council must have thought!

"Y/N, Hu Tao, what are you two doing instead of your own works? Engaging in topics that are personal and inappropriate for on-campus conversations? May I remind you that the Student Council are to lead the students of Teyvat High? What students are you two leading? Pests that like to gossip and spread rumors? If so, just join their club and leave this one. You two are certainly not needed."

Scaramouche scoffed, clearly irritated at me and Hu Tao. Though, who could blame him? We're practically bothering everybody here.

Still, that was kind of harsh..

"Gee, some president you are. Fine, we'll take our business elsewhere. Y/N?" She offered her hand for me to take.

I didn't know what to do. Take it and we both leave, Scara will be mad at me! I don't take it, Hu Tao, my best friend, will become upset..

"Um.. perhaps we should get to work, Hu Tao.. though let's hang out later after school, m'kay?" She pouted and thought.

"'Kay.." We both sighed in relief.

That is, until Scaramouche tapped his pen against his desk.

"Y/N. Hallway, now." He got up from his desk, my eyes followed his figure, but my entire body soon did the same.

"They're definitely gonna make out." Hu Tao hummed as Mona nodded her head in agreement.

"So..-"

"Seriously? You're inviting Hu Tao to hang out after school? I thought we have- had.. plans for later."

Crap.

I had completely forgot about that!

"I.. forgot. I'm sorry, we should reschedule-"

"Whatever. So it's her over me? Is that it?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"No, no! Of course not! Scara-" I panicked.

"We planned that for a week, Y/N."

"I know, I know! I'm sorry I panicked and didn't think well enough- I didn't have much time to think! I didn't know what to do, I'm sorry Scara-"
