We often assume that children don't grasp the truth, yet they surprise us with their emotional maturity. Sometimes, they understand things that adults overlook

After the little banter and a lot of apologies from Shiv, AnAr forgave him for forgetting to inform them, while Ansh was the silent spectator of the drama and rolled his eyes often at Shiv who tried to pull a puppy face at AnAr who melted at him.

Ansh couldn't resist commenting “It all took one puppy face for you two to melt and forgive him? Why do all the drama then?” at that AnAr sucked a good amt of air and glared at him while Shiv chuckled inwardly at the irritated AnAr.

“First we didn’t forgive him for one puppy face we just couldn’t spare his puppy face any longer look at him *pointing at Shiv who now threw her confused glare* how can one stand that face anymore we just spared ourselves from further annoyance that wasn’t exactly forgiveness babe” saying Ana defended both her and Arav, how can she just give up in front of the mini version.

“Exactly” agreed Arav and both AnAr blinked their eyes at each other causing Ansh to roll his eyes at their synchronized agreement.

“Hey…

Came Shiv’s opposing voice but one glare from her was enough to shut his mouth and waved his hand like giving it up as it would only trouble his paradise

“All this aside, tell me how you got to know?” asked Shiv that grabbed all three attention

"Well, I was on my way to a meeting when Mali called. Unlike certain someone with memory size of a pea, my sister remembered her promise to keep me updated on Arav's health. *She paused, deliberately flashed a smile that caused Shiv to swallow hard and nod in response. He wasn't foolish enough to miss the underlying taunt, and he knew better to shut his mouth*. As we were chatting, she handed the phone to Arav, who excitedly asked me, 'Angel, did Dada tell you when he'll pick us up?' Confused, I asked him to what. That's when he told me about a promise someone made to him, promising to pick me, Ansh, and him up for an outing, which clearly never happened." She paused, blinking innocently at Shiv, as if she hadn't just delivered a subtle jab, narrating the situation with the simplicity of a child recounting every detail.

Shiv opened his mouth and shut, looked at Arav who was giving him not so innocent look just like Ana, then he looked at Ansh who gave him the look ‘Keep me out of it’, Shiv rubbed his forehead and let go of nervous chuckle

“Well, ummmm… that’s great”

Not only his brain but the other three also threw him strange look while he crushed himself for his foolish mouth who couldn’t form any better words

“I mean...

He couldn’t complete his sentence as Ana showed him her palm saying no more cover-up, you forgot that’s the end
