Lost in each other’s warmth and embrace, Shivika smiled. Though it was not the end of all their problems, it was the start of something fresh. The only thing they both promised themselves was not to mess it up.

Life doesn't always shower mercy on people. If it does, consider yourself lucky and try not to blow things up because you’re only lucky once, not always.

Ana’s eyes wandered around and stuck at the beaming moon like how it had been her silent companion for all those years of keeping her sanity and peace, hearing all her night complaints, giving her the warmth of familiarity. She chuckled at the memory and looked at Shiv who smiled at her and gazed at the moon as he wasn’t any different from her.

“If Moon was a person he/she would definitely throw pit on me for all the drills and complaints I took in front of him/her, he/she would just throw me out of the world” saying, she chuckled while he agreed with her

“Couldn’t agree less”

Ana looked back at him. The night seemed beautiful to her, but she sighed, knowing it couldn’t last. He had to head back to Arav. Though she felt nice and glad that he came here, which allowed them to address the elephants in the room, she felt bad for Arav. What if he wakes up in the middle of the night only to find his father not beside him?

"Shiv," her voice came out whispery with love. He nodded, indicating for her to continue.

"Shiv *looking at him with soft gaze*, you need to head back to Arav. I know you didn’t come here without leaving him in good hands, but I want you to be with him. It was a lot for him to take in."

Shiv understood her point and smiled at her. He knew Ana would see Arav just like Ansh. Thinking of Ansh, he looked at her. Since he was already here, he would find peace even if he could catch a glimpse of Ansh.

“'You’re right. I should probably head back. Khanna is there with him, but that kid can be a handful if he doesn’t see me beside him, *Shiv chuckled at the end, remembering his night stay at the office when Khanna had literally begged him to come back home, as Arav had been a handful when he woke up and found Khanna beside him instead of his Dad*. I will leave now, but before I do, can I see Ansh once? I’ll be as silent as a snail; I won’t make a noise. I know he’s asleep. Trust me, I won’t wake him up; I just want to see him. That’s all. I understand if you say no. I mean…”

Though he looked cute while nervously rambling to see his son, Ana placed her finger on his mouth to silence him before he completely freaked out.

“Giggling, 'Shiv, calm down, breathe in, breathe out. Your train is completely out of control. Why would you think I'd stop you from seeing Ansh? Yes, he's asleep, but that doesn’t stop me from letting you see him. Though I’m liking this cute, rambling version of yours, you'd better hurry up and keep all your cuteness in your pocket. That's only for my eyes. Let’s go see our son, kay?” She teased
