Scales

89 12 7

Each one like a tear drop,

Overlapping one another,

Forming a tail,

Unlike any other.

Catching the light,

And shining it away,

A game of catch,

Each and every day.

All fish have them,

These colorful scales,

As do mermaids,

But they are just tales.

A/N Hey readers, this popped into my head and decided, let's get it out there. It has been a few months since I've uploaded another poem to this book, but hey, at least I got one right? No? Okay.

I'm still having trouble coming up with topics to do poems about, but once one pops in my head, I'll get it written down. If you liked this poem, please push the vote button thing (I think it's a star, I tend to forget things) and leave a comment. I would appreciate it. Until next time, bye.
